PKK planted and exploded more than 300kg explosive to road and targeted Kirpi MRAP !

Kirpi took serious damage and broken into two pieces while crew compartment remains one block !

No any single soldier died, but wounded ! Importance of saving life thanks to investments on such heavy armoured vehicles are vital ! Thanks Allah that all 12 soldiers are alive at present !

Bloody Hell. That is a major IED blast and I am glad there were no fatality.

Pakistan & Turkey should sign a military agreement for joint military hardware productions, like that Pakistan will be able to learn a lot of things from Turkey.

Pak bought 160 MAXPro (different variants) for 200 million... And yes we operated 3 dozen Cougars/EOD variants etc etc before that aswell...

Turkish MRAPs May aswell be half the price... Apart from that we have already signed deal to produce B-7 level Arnoured vehicles with them (Nurol).

* Havelsan contracted for building our electronic warfare ranges

So just because we didn't buy T-129 mainly due to the US pulling strings and refusing to sell the engines, doesn't mean Pakistan is backing away from Turkey. Its a two way train, our cooperation with Turkey is deep rooted and mostly stays below radar. Pakistan has provided a lot of gear to Turkey as well, one way or another but no one will talk about it. Turkey makes very good MRAPs and armored vehicles, we hope to see a token deal on this soon.

Bro HIT is doing excellent work producing defense equipment of international standards but anything or every thing is not plausible or feasible so some times its better to outsource items.

Agreed sir ,thats why i said alkhalid ,i know how much hit is doing best work ,my two cousins are working there ,and i didnt say not to buy from turkey,but see just go and watch the recent attack vedios of Paf,our 90% troops including army,police and others came in toyota,mazda or in otherwords open vehicles from every where, means no cover,and you know it a local velder in our neighbourhood can cover these vehicles a lot better bullet proof or even small idz proof,we already have more than thousand "baktarbad" mrapa,etc but why they not use it,or atleast make some nice changes to these toyota,mazda,mercedez type small trucks so our jawans have more cover,less casualties.
