That is happening and the official word is that from the 1st of the coming month all kinds of restrictions on Pakistanis will be lifted
Just because u hate all the gulf countries, u do realize how much this will help our economy. As @Windjammer mentioned earlier this also opens the possibilities for our arms markets.Lol.......all these Gulf countries come running to Pakistan for 'security help'
but we have a big job at home. We should utilize all the manpower and kill this Taliban/BRA thing once and for all.

U r right training wise the amount is peanuts. But what about selling them arms, it does open up more possibilities. We cant just be too greedy, look at the indians, why are they successful, because they dont leave even a penny worth of opportunity behind. Where we always want to kill the hen rather then cashing in one golden egg a day.Economy wise? peanuts actually ... even if the training is worth 100-200 million $ ?? Would be far better if these gulf countries invest $ into defence project (JVs?) or buy heavy equipment from us.. which will not only help our economy but our defence industries aswell...
What the real need of the hour is reviving our crippled economy ...
The fact is that we are going to train them not provide security to the State...... to provide security you may need to depart several thousand troops but for training it's just a matter of some instructors. Military training is something Pakistan has been providing to several friendly nations for decades, in fact at one time PAF was virtually running the show in some Middle Eastern and East African countries.Just because u hate all the gulf countries, u do realize how much this will help our economy. I wanted to reply to some who made it sound as if we were to deploy our army there. But how can u explain someone something who who dont want to understand it at the first place. The fact is that we are going to train them not provide security to the State...... to provide security you may need to depart several thousand troops but for training it's just a matter of some instructors. Six nations, including Pakistan, have been excluded from Kuwait’s new visa regime,Gulf News reported.
Kuwait interior ministry’s decision allow all Kuwaiti embassies and consulates to issue all types of visit visas will not apply on six nations that have been barred from entering the country.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Kuwait’s interior ministry had said that the embassies and consulates were given full authority to issue the visas based on procedures stipulated by the law and its regulations.
The interior minister, Shaikh Muhammad Al Khalid, had issued instructions to the Citizenship, Travel Documents and Immigration departments “to work in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and the hotels sector which can also engage in the process of issuing all kinds of visas to Kuwait — commercial, tourist or family.”
However, a local daily Al Rai was told by the security sources that the new rules do not apply to nationals from Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and Afghanistan who have been barred from entering Kuwait.
The ban, which was imposed in 2011, on nationals of these six countries was attributed to the “difficult security conditions in the six countries” and to “the remarkably increasing tendency of Kuwait-based nationals from these countries to apply for visas to bring into Kuwait relatives who faced or could face serious challenges in their home countries.” According to the sources, the decision to allow embassies to issue visas will now be followed by a series of meetings to agree on specific measures for the process and to ensure that applicants wanted in terrorism-related cases or suspected of plotting to undermine the country’s security and stability are not given the visa.
Kuwait is home to around 2.2 million expatriates, making up two thirds of the total population.
