Pakistan to send more troops to Bahrain

I beg to disagree. With Iran we are entering into long term relationship starting from gas pipe line project. It would not be in the best interests of both countries to sabotage the increasing bilateral relationship. If you talk about best wishes, then we should also not forget that much of the Pakistan suffering today comes from saudi funded ideology in our maddrass thanks to Zia. UAE for e.g does not want to see gawadar developed. We like to blame India and US for everything but its about time that these two countries also get their fair share of blame, after all certain terrorists are still getting funds from these countries.

And do you think Iran wants to see Gwadar developed when they are collaberating with India on their Chabahar Port?

Listen, I am not saying that we dont improve our relations with Iran, we just have to be very careful with the extremist Iranian government. This Iranian government is the same government that almost declared a war on Pakistan over the situation in Afghanistan in the 90's. Why are they not declaring a war on America when America today is interfering more in Afghanistan than Pakistan ever did?

We have conflicting interests with Iran in the region, be it in Gwadar, Afghanistan, and Bahrain. For this Iranian government Shias are everything and Sunnis are animals for them.

And I have nothing against the Iranian people. Iran was the first country to recognize Pakistan in 1947 and we enjoyed best relations with Iran under the Shah's era but these Shia extremist Mullahs in Iran ruling Iran today are dangerous for Pakistan we have to be careful in dealing with them.

Iranian people should start a revolution to overthrow their extremist government ruling Iran today.

By the way, Pakistanis should not get impressed when Iran's leader says something against Israel or America. Actions speak louder than words, and Iran will dare not harm Israel or America...if they were true to their words why they are just sitting when America has occupied TWO countries both countries sharing borders with Iran?

Pakistan did not send any soldiers to Bahrain, civilians however did enlist for the Bahrain Police force.

2ndly its not about sectarian thingy, its just a job opportunity for pakistanis so its their choice if they want to join behrain police or other forces.

This will make Pakistan bad in the eyes of Bahrain people.

No this is not true... just a minority miscreants disturbing the peace of a progressive and modern state..

As i said Bahrain govt. need to check its record for who so ever visited Bahrain frequently for no good reasons or stayed few months in last one-two year are most likely culprit foreigners.

Simply because Mullahs of Iran are key characters of a big drama being played in the region of which more episodes are about to unfold.
No one cares for the people.

.
iran has also warned severe regional consequences if the Syrian shia govt(which has killed more than 3,000 people thrice as in libya and nearing the figure his father did )..double standards...

Pakistan to send more troops to Bahrain
Sun Aug 21, 2011 10:16AM GMT

Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari (L) met King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain on Wednesday, August 17, 2011.Pakistan has agreed to dispatch more mercenaries to Bahrain to help Al Khalifa regime's crackdown on anti-government protesters in the Persian Gulf state.

The agreement was reached when Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari met King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during his one-day visit to Bahrain on Wednesday, IRNA reported Saturday.

Manama has been recruiting former soldiers and policemen from Pakistan at a steady rate to strengthen the government's forces.

In many demonstrations Bahraini protesters shouted slogans against Pakistani security forces in Urdu.

Pakistani and Saudi forces have played a major rule in suppressing anti-government protests in Bahrain since the beginning of unrest in the Persian Gulf country.

President of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) Nabeel Rajab said Friday that the Pakistani recruits have behaved with a heavy hand toward demonstrators.

"They're told they are going to go to a holy war in Bahrain to kill some non-Muslims or kafir [infidel] or Shias. They are paid well, maybe," Rajab noted.

Tens of thousands of Bahraini protesters have been holding peaceful anti-government rallies throughout the Middle Eastern country since February, demanding an end to the rule of the Al Khalifa family.

Scores of people have been killed and many more arrested and tortured in prisons in a government-sanctioned crackdown on protests since the beginning of the demonstrations.

According to the BCHR, there are currently over 1,000 political detainees inside the country.

On an inter government level we should not interfere in other countries. My simple way of looking at this is would americans be happy with this action of Pak government and if the answer is yes then its wrong for us to do it because americans are enemies of all muslims

STOP POSTING THIS BULLSH__ POSTS AND MISINFORMATION.

THERE ARE NO UNIFORMED PAKISTANIS IN BAHRAIN.

IF BAHRAINI GOVT. HIRES RETIRED PERSONNEL FROM PAKISTAN OR ANY OTHER MUSLIM COUNTRY, YOU CANNOT CALL THESE PEOPLE PAKISTANI TROOPS. STOP YOUR CAMPAIGN OF LIES AND DECEPTION.

Pakistan shouldn't involve itself in others countries internal problem. Let Bahrini deal with this. No doubt if Bahrini monarchy falls then next will be rest of Arabs too.Plus the reason of uprising in Syria is to finish the anti-Isreal govt which is backing Hizbullah , who is hanging sword .....
P.S Bahrin was part of Iran few decades back and majority of these people are Arab-Iranian blood. Just like Kuwait has huge population of Irani-kuwaitis ..
