What's new

Pakistan to restore Bhagat Singh's home and school.

I personally regard him as a hero. He refused to lick up the Raj. I don't care if he joined hands with the National Socialists of Germany. Some Muslims did too, people saw Hitler as their way out of British slavery. His chances of success were always slim, though i say 'Heil to you Netaji'. :pakistan:

I request you not to Judge any act of anybody from the point of view whether some Muslims did same or not. He can either be right or wrong irrespective of same act done by Muslim or otherwise.

Netaji is not really well known in Pakistan. Educated Pakistanis who know about his history, hold him in high regard. Personally he is the only Hindu leader whom i regard as a true patriot of the S.Asian people. He clearly believed very strongly in the S.Asian cause.

I would say make it heritage sight ,you will get more tourists and money.

Its a pleasure to service the heritage sites. We recently granted the 'Sikh Holy City' status to Nankana Sahib in Hassan Abdal District. There also plan to build a Baba Gurunanak University there.

See there are few very clear things. The way we are not at all taught in our History about M.A Jinnah, in Pakistan they are not at all taught about Subhas Bose. So evidently there won't be any reaction as such. And he was also not related to partition,

Bhagat Singh is a different case. He was the son of soil and was born in Lyallpur. So many would be knowing him.

A great man.

I wonder what he would have done, had he been alive at the time when the 2 nation theory was proposed.
