The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has decided in principle that Pakistan will remain on its grey list till next February and directed Islamabad to take ‘extra measures’ for ‘complete’ elimination of terror financing and money laundering.

An FATF meeting in Paris on Tuesday reviewed the measures that Islamabad has already taken to control money laundering and terror financing. However, the meeting observed that Islamabad will have to take further steps in these four months.

so another indian fail...

feel bad for indians.. ever since imran khan showed up... indians have been consistently losing..

Had it been Nawaz Sharif, we would had been blacklisted by now. Pmln even couldn't able to secure the backing of just 3 countries 1.7 years back else, we would had never gone into grey list at first place. Present govt was gifted with so much economic mess when they took power but slowly things are getting better.

My goodness, we are NOT going to be placed in the Black List? This is death for India.....RIP India!

How very intelligent and insightful. Whenever I wonder why we are in the state we are today, I come across people like you and I get the answer to my question.

true

Dar was the master mind behind this. he shamelessly circumvented our laws just so that he and his racal family could make transfer stolen money from Pakistan into western banks..

there was no earlier backing as intention of then govenment was doubt.. Today it is a different case. Every one trusts Imran Khan even Trump does :usflag:....

full marks to khan on foreign policy but zero marks in economic front as khan govt need to improve itself economically

it will take time... it is not easy to come out of situation of $95B debt and just $15B in exports ....

So no black listing as Indians were desperately predicting?

Lol look at the delight on knowing Pakistan is staying in grey list. Sure India didn't get to put Pakistan in black list. But do you even know what being in grey list means?

The government has calculated that Pakistan will face USD 10 billion loss annually if it remains in the 'grey list'. This is said by your own Foreign Minister Qureshi.

Now please celebrate it by all means. Lol

too bad... Pak should DEMAND that for safe exit from AFG, they should be in white list. We only have that card left so use it wisely.

Going into the black list was never the case as we had the support of 3 countries needed to stay out. Question was of getting out of grey. This bakwas needs to end and US needs to be told categorically. If they want our support they need to show some of theirs as well.

Lol, FM Qureshi just said it to alarm the respective authorities else it has been clarified that grey list doesn't effect a single dollar loss to economy infact most of the people are quite happy that we are finally fixing our outdated and unchecked laws because of fatf grey listing. We have been in grey list in the past as well even on the year when former Pakistani PM and China's Xi announced land mark CPEC project in 2014 and from that point Chinese investment started to flood Pakistan despite of we being in grey list.
