I just expressed my doubts over too good to be true news first our journalists lack technical know how and the authentication of such claims, secondly something so significant would have more meat to the bone.

Iran tilting to India at the expense of Pakistan is too far fetched, granted we have differences and issues with Iran due to activities of USA/ KSA against it through our land but Iran & Pakistan also suffer the insurgency of the Baloch nationalists & sectarian terrorists and it will suffer same fate. I cant , also speak for India on how America will see India cozying up with Ayatullahs either. if Su 3x family was on cards then Pakistan would have gone for Chinese J-11 but it didnt so I dont know

BTW, you talking about tilting and at the expense of Pak. But did you ever think about the reasons, India and China were the only one who bought the Iranian oil during Sanctions, even that can expense India's western allies too.

India is jumping on $ 50 Billion deal with Russia over a period of 10 years which can be interpreted as $ 5 billion per year.

Pakistan is doing a deal $ 5 billion per year. Future deals would follow. So it is the same as that of India in terms of per annum.

If Pakistan requires more in the future lets say at $ 2 billion per year for 20 years that is $45 billion. So Pakistan is not that much behind in the long run.

Then why the France talking about liabilities, if it just going to assemble in HAL facility. All the product will be manufactured by Dassault.

And one thing, I said it will hang forever, if that not possible, may be IAF wait till 2017, if the FGFA failed, then it goes to Rafale, We already learn the lesson of manufacturing airframe from SUs, there is nothing we going to get from Rafake.

Iran does not favour india but is a neutral party.
But it knows it can never trust pakistan due to shia -sunni issue(however unfortunate its a reality).

It simply engages with india on a mutual profit basis,nothing more and nothing less.They tried building a ipeline to pakistan and we all know what happened with that so its obvious that they still distrust pakistan as the pipeline is not being built under pressure from their rivals saudis.

If u have choosen a position,,they are free to pursue their interests too.

Pakistan's only problem is scarcity of USD ie Greenbacks

And Russia is showing interest in Pakistan for two reasons
1 Afghanistan
2 A few million dollars more ( 20 Mi 35 = 200 Million dollars )

Russia does not give soft loans like China

And if Pakistan is ABLE to get USD from somewhere ie China and Saudi
then Russia will sell even more things to Pakistan

Exactly,,the amount of money required to set up overhaul facility,spares etc will be huge for su-35 considering its huge size etc.
But that question does not arise as su-35 will never be on offer to pakistan.

The goodies will be relatively harmless stuff like pantsir or buk.
