I thank people like Nehru who set up the bureaucracy and other institutions to be largely secular despite the background Indian society to be a non-secular one. When non-secular people enter these institutions they either become secular or the non-secularness becomes hidden.





I am not talking about reunification but about a common progressive political system followed by all countries in South Asia and those countries remaining independent republics still.
