Is it just me or anyone else on this forum find is extremely odd that the drone attack that killed one of the top TTP leader came at a perfect time when the Pakistani government was about to initiate talks with TTP.

It has happened before as well when the talks were about to be initiated they droned and killed i guess two of their leaders on different occasions.

TTP is still there , they have a new leader , and according to their traditions his First Responsibility will be to avenge the previous leader . You are not alone.. After listening this news I was having mix feeling. Once I was happy that whole Leadership of TTP is gone, but then it was strange feeling how a leaderless TTP will looks like? They might go underground and when ever get time do their dirty work. On the top, both sides were going to start dialogues.

One more thing was in my mind, may be USA continued their historical nature, when they needed they used them, and when not needed disposed off, leaving no record of evidence.
