Well in this instance it's probably not the Pakistani people, it's the ruling class that is obeying orders from US that is not in the interest of Pakistan.

PA shoud sell the T-80UDs to USA for Ukraine for the same new cost of replacing them with VT-4s... everyone wins in this scenario.

The T-80UDs will become difficult to maintain for Pakistan given the war and Pakistan is buying VT-4s already, so doubling that fleet size is in pakistans strategic interests aswell..
