dear
you alos considered talbiban a nation state with SA and UAE
what happned ?

Pakistan is funding it and it is a EMBASSY... Here is how the dictionary defines a "Embassy"
n.pl.em·bas·sies
1.
A building containing the offices of an ambassador and staff.
2. The position, function, or assignment of an ambassador.
3. A mission to a foreign government headed by an ambassador.
4. A staff of diplomatic representatives headed by an ambassador.

And discuss the Palestinian embassy, we are not discussing the Taliban Embassy we are discussing the Palestinian Embassy. Stop twisting words!

Pakistan govt spending 1 million dollars for an embassy of a non existant state in its soil.

Pakistani citizens destroy pakistani property for some cartoon drawn by someone in a country thats in another continent.

Wow you guys must be super rich.

Pakistan recognizes the state of Palestine. Use your brains next time you open your mouth, save you being called a fool.

Love of good food, good humor and good architecture is common between all Pakistanis.
Ditto!

thanks for ans..
i asked simple question .. nothing else

That is a really great news i think ...........Wow .............i love it show it to israel :D

It does serve a purpose to give an imaginary middle finger to Israel, from whom Pakistan has many cooperative covert agreements with, but face value its meaningless.

Most employees there will just spend the day eating 'chai biscut'. What will the embassy do? There aren't too many palestinians in pakistan, so it's not as if it's being built to support their issues. What else does any embassy do? Provide visas? Well , they can give out all visas they want but no one can enter Palestine without going through Israel unless they want to use the crossing at egypt border , which opens and closes whenever it wants. This embassy serves no purpose except just showing that it exists.

that has no link to this story ... it is only to show solidarity with Palestinian people ....

And while we're on the subject of what qualifies as an Embassy, perhaps you can point out with the functions of an Embassy are?
  1. Preserve & protect official government to government relations between host and representative
  2. Establish forums for commercial/ academia/ people of both nations to collaborate
  3. Promote Culture in host nation
  4. Fine tune minor details between the nations
  5. Collect intelligence on Political/ Social/ Military of host
  6. Monitor status of citizens in host nation
$1 Million could have been better spent. Perhaps providing scholarships to Palestinians to come to Pakistan. Nations establish embassies in foreign nations in correlation to the bilateral relationship. 45,000 Palestinians in Pakistan is peanuts to the number of Palestinians in Jordan/ Lebanon/ Syria or UAE.

The fact of the matter is this project is over kill. The relationship between Pakistan and Palestine could have been handled in a 5 bedroom house.

Looks cool, but little bit too bombastic for tiny poor state (?) thousands miles away. IMO

Jealous, are we? We are not going to build any embassy for Israel here if that's what you wished :D

Greatly appreciated by Pakistani brothers and sisters! :)

This looks very nice too. We already have ambassadors to both our nations. And this upgrade hopefully will allow increase in diplomatic relations and help Pakistan use PA as bridge between them and Arab nations to possibly bring awareness to Kashmir issue into Arab world.

Wow man... It really is cool design. Wonderfully done and suited for an embassy. Elegant but not imposing. Design is from a Pakistani architect, if I am not mistaken right?
