No matter how much you dislike it, but the fact remains that Pakistani army committed unimaginable atrocities against Bangladesh in 1971. Yes no one counted the number of death at the time but no one still denies the fact that it was a huge number of unarmed civilians who faced death rape and torture. You can write as many books as you want but you cannot sanitize such atrocities.

Actually BD is better than Pakistan in a host of economic and social indicators. And much more secular and inclusive. and a lot less extremism prone. Won't be wrong to say that it is truly the real Pakistan that Jinnah envisioned.

BD Muslim folks were the at the ultimate receiving end during the British Indian rule. IMO, they wanted Pak at all costs. But, they couldn't do it all alone. Only for the genius of Rahmetli Jinnah Pak could be created out of the jaw of Ram Rajya. What a pity that BD folks voluntarily got under the complete capitulation of that very Ram Rajya!!! According to BJP leaders, BD is like Sita to be re-captured for Ravana (using proxies like Bibhishana)...

The thing that a lot of Bangladeshis don't understand is that most Pakistanis have moved on, what happened before has happened. Wrongs were done from both sides, but it is time to move on. No one honestly mentions Bangladesh to get votes here, no one even cares. No party here can survive on playing as victims of 1971 or how Bangladesh is evil etc BS.

They have their own country now and if they really want to come under the wing of India again, I have no issue with it, go ahead. But if they are going to start prosecuting those responsible for crimes in 1971, then they need to do justice in the correct manner and also go after those who butchered West Pakistani civillians, Pro Pakistani Biharis and Bengalis.

I have no problem if the Gov of Bangladesh was sincere in that effort, but it is quite evident that it isn't. As they refuse to even acknowledge the crimes done by their own countrymen against the Pro Pakistani populace.
