We do evaluate whole bunch of equipment before making a decision.
There are too many short to mid range defence system in the market, not sure what fits the $$$ for Pakistan.

do not claim false especially if you dont back it up factually with some credible information
Joint project between South Korea And Turkey and do research before you post, design remains same as K-2 but electronics and Weapons are from turkey @Dr. z[1]n

It's heavy for our environment

Isn't our environment same as of Indians they are working on Arjun which falls under same weight displacement of Altay Tank

Yeah work can be done on supporting Infrastructure

Sir Altay Is a Licenscend produced K2, However , the turret is Turkish designed ( main part of the tank) only Hull and suspension is K2 ,

Hull? K-2 has 6 road wheel, While Altay has 7. Altay's driver is stationed in the center of hull, While driver of K-2 locates in driver's left hand side on the center of chassis. Altay's bottom is designed with a roundy shape to withstand IED explosions, While K-2 has a straight bottom. K-2 has hydropneumatic suspension, While Altay benefits from torsion bar suspension. How type a licence is that ? What Turkey received from S. Korea is "Consultancy Service". Some of their engineers have participated into design phase of Altay program, as BAE engineers have been participating into TF-X design phase. Consultancy partnership on design phase with an X country doesn't make TF-X a licenced aircraft of Britain, nor make Altay a S. Korean.
