What's new

Pakistan should play negotiator's role rather than take part in Yemen war, says Imran

Friendship with Saudi Arabia and protection of Makkah and Madinah both side are Muslims but those who create fasad in state Islam orders are clear for them finish them so Zaidis instead of becoming part are trying to overtake a country which has majority Sunnis I mean Yemen Iran is not our enemy but we won't allow Iran to mess with entire Sunni world. Iran is not USA if it thinks that way than it has to be reminded of what it is best way is to send War Jets teach houthis a lesson and on diplomatic front together with Sunni World put pressure on Iran to stop supporting Houthis and put pressure on them to start talk

Bahrain is Shiite majority but ruled by a Sunni monarch. Should we jump in? We did but not to help the people but the monarch. Your argument of helping the majority take what's rightfully theirs doesn't hold any water.

Imran Khan could not be more correct. However do note that Nawaz Sharif was saved by the Saudis during the Musharraf eras early years. So I think if not publicly but surreptitiously Nawaz will send some form of token if not complete support to the Saudis. But I agree fully that we should remain neutral. We should not play a part in the sectarian conflict. We should play the role as peace keepers, particularly because we have the largest shia population in the world and second largest sunni population too. So we need to do nothing to alienate shias than they already are nor should we join a war when 50000 of our troops have been killed with the loss of 100 billion $ in WOT. So lets play the role of peacekeepers and negotiators.

.
So in your infinite wise logic, when the Muslim world has been torn between Shias and Sunnis by these two -Iran and Saudi Arabia, we should jump in the fight and take Saudi side.

We should be in no camp. Shia or Sunni. Just like we were not taking any sides in Iran Iraq war but tried to negotiate between the warring countries.
Iran-Iraq war was a different scenario. In this, situation, Iran is involved in every conflict of middle east.
If we condemn TTP supporters, then we must support KSA stance and put pressure on Iran otherwise you will see Shia-Sunni conflict in Pak in near future and later on, you will know iran is also involved in it.

Iran is under "mullah" rule and mullah is always narrow minded.

Imran Khan is flying high.

Pakistan is becoming a sectarian country, it cannot play a big brother role till becomes a normal state.

How many Pakistanis on this very thread or related threads are supporting Zarvan's point of view? Don't you think Zarvan's point of view is an orphan and if it is, which it is, how his mindset represents the typical Pakistani world view?

BTW, we are also very glad to separate from you who decided to go with someone against whom you voted in 1946. Will be even more glad to see you get annexed with India.

Excuse my rants. I'm a well-wisher of (a progressive, secular) Pakistan. It hurts to see Pakistan acting like Zarvan at the state level, though there's so many sane, liberal, rational Pakistanis out there.

spoken like a true slave
what super power our country acts like a bagger cant even buy weapons with our own money instead of living in dellusions get a life and learn the reality
why should my soldiers die fighting in a conflict that is pure sectarian in nature if u love it that much
why dont u go and fight for saudis

I already reported your abusive post and here again you quoted me lol anyways look at America they are busy in major conflicts and have presence all over the world. Thats how you need to progress. We don't need to send troops on ground we can involve in mission planning and training or airstrikes. Like we helped Srilanka against LTTE.

@Zarvan has a majority problem.

Sunnis are mostly immigrant in yemen settled by the saud since 50s. Local yemenis are shia and a majority since past 1400 years. Yemenis accepted Islam at the hands of Imam Ali a.s. and remain loyal to his wilayat.

saudi and british started settling sunni immigrants from 50s. eriteria, somalia, egypt etc. many in aden.

1960 shia population : around 60%
2012 shia populaiton : around 45% unesco

Infact Yemenis are still over 50% and saudi did everything to hide.

yes, Irani mullah's are more narrow minded and extremists than others.

yes. But they are still good than pakistani brand. check again.

Very disappointing. With Zarvan's mindset being the typical Pakistani world view, I don't think there's any hope for you guys. I am glad we separated in 1971!!
I agree zarvan mindset is disappointing but people like him can be found every where on earth and pakistan is no different.
First you have to hope for yourself so india cannot swallow your puny country called Bangladesh. With a large military with nuclear weapons we can defend ourselves but i cannot see hope for your country in the next india invasion.
Yes in 1971 we did mistakes but your situation is more pity ful after what india did to you. After 43 years now you are little weak country which is incapable of defending herself with the same old called enemy called india.

yes. But they are still good than pakistani brand. check again.

Both Iran and Saudi are extreme in how they interpret religion and exercise their foreign policy. Both need to stop acting like hormonal teens.

Really? Tell me more :coffee:
If you are sunni, you have no chance for job in Iran. First of all, they ask about your sect.
Is this happens in KSA or Pakistan?

dont act like a little girl there we were talking about interanal politics of our country
here we are talking about geopolitics and your post did not make any sense
look at America they are busy in major conflicts
you compare america with pakistan what r u smoking ?
america had been the biggest economy of the world since 1920s so they could afford all the wars their geo political interests demanded
now here we have pakistan with a hostile eastern and western border with internal political crisis
insurgency in blochistan and fata, with a crippling economy if we fight this war we would have another hostile nation on our borders which would most probably align itself with our eastern friends .....you seriously hate pakistan this much that u want us to get cluster fcuked like this
and wars will not bring peace and progress to pakistan only sectarian tensions will increase
We don't need to send troops on ground we can involve in mission planning and training or airstrikes.
agreed thats the most sane way to do it
Like we helped Srilanka against LTTE.
thats was a complete different case LTTE attacked our diplomates thus we got a reason to get involved nothing like that has happened in yemen

.
you can blame saudi but not Islamic IRAN.

ofcourse. Pakistan is a hidden sunni state but cannot declare it due to public fear. Zia tried to declare but was stuck. saudi has bought everything mosque to military to president. New Pakistan is needed to for future generations. today it is all sects. people live with own capacity otherwise state conditon everyone knows.

so no need to open this pandora box.
Hidden sunni state but no problem to shia from govt side.
KSA has dictatorship but my shia friends are operating transport company in KSA. They have no problem to be a shia.

Ahmadi Nijad was a broad minded and true leader, He maintained balance in relations with KSA and other reignol forces. Hassan Rohani is "mullah". Mullah always focus on own sect and curse other ones.
