Pakistan should play negotiator's role rather than take part in Yemen war, says Imran

@Irfan Baloch

The houthis would have risen regardless of Iran. Iran did indeed help them but Iran was not behind their rise. As you know the saudi family is very insecure, they known having a strong houthi run Yemen in their back garden is not a good sign, thus, you've seen them for the last few weeks moaning and recently starting this bombing campaign. Their bombing will not change the fact on the ground. Matter of fact, since this bombing, the houthis have still made gains on the ground.

Pakistan should not involve itself with this. There is no reason for you to get involved. Pakistan has no reason to help the al saud family. This is not about protecting the holy sites etc, Iran would never attack those sites, Iran is a muslim country.

This is a proxy war between Iran and the US and their puppets the saudis. The less you guys get involved the better. I don't want to see a bad relation between us, because I know the vast majority of Pakistan are not interested in being an army for the saudis.

Sorry we can't just play the role of negotiator Iran has left us with no choice we have to go in and support Saudi Arabia and should send a squadron and may be one Frigate too and yes together with Sunni Countries should put pressure on Iran to stop supporting Houthis and put pressure on them to start talks

Its Army who has decided this right now Nawaz is in no position what they would do internally or externally its Army who has decided to go for it Nawaz is only in front to get abused

complete the sentence: when two brothers fight...

Hi

it beyond Islam and Muslims and holy sites.
Pakistan has a weak leadership that has vast money stashed in the Arab countries. so it cant afford to disappoint the Saudis Qataris and Amirs of UAE etc.

secondly its about money. pride doesn't fill the belly.... charity does. I already expressed my opinion about staying out of the proxy war . but like I said, if our army is only protecting the Saudi Monarchs then Iran shouldn't complain.

secondly, as a well wisher and Admirer of Iran I say this again. consolidate the gains in Iraq, you have grudging praise even from other Arabs for doing something which no one else did. lets stay there work with Americans on the nuclear deal before Obama goes and people who are dying to attack Iran run out of excuses.

and I pray that the Clergy in Qum spends more time in reading and understanding Muhammad PBUH's patience and dealings with Quraish and Jewish tribes rather than "declaring Mer Ber Amrika".

Can someone please teach lesson to our lunatic leader ship ?
Here we are going to make another problem for us.

Very disappointing. With Zarvan's mindset being the typical Pakistani world view, I don't think there's any hope for you guys. I am glad we separated in 1971!!

Start supporting India on Kashmir and other issues. If Pakistan wants your enmity - let them have it.

By not joining Pakistan risks isolation. The entire middle east is joining this coalition. Do you guys know how many Pakistani work in middle east and how much remittance is sent back? Yes, end of the day it's all about money. Seems this forum is filled with individuals who think they are the experts in foreign policy and sectarian conflicts. Really believe army will not look into cons and pro before making a decision? When USA placed sanctions on Pakistan it was Saudi Arabia which supported Pakistan, yes financially. When we have the economy and all the Pakistani actually pay tax and have almost no corruption only then Pakistan could have said no. Easy to sit outside the government and make decisions, Imran wants Pakistan to be the negotiator? Just like he wanted to shoot down the American drones? When you are outside, you can say anything.

Where are the inside sources people on this forum have, maybe someone can give a glimpse of pressure being put on the military and the government by the Saudis.

Good advice but I am unsure if NS will listen to this. This is not our conflict and we should stay neutral.

main reason, you know some of our army brass is not angel in these matters...

we are also happy to see that your Indian master dog is treating you well in border belt areas...

It will be suicide for Pakistan if decided to join. This war is not our and should stay neutral. We might become negotiator but no boots on ground.

. . .
Example Abu Jindal, when after 2005 we were short od funds our ummah brothers didn't give a shit about that...when some body kicks there ares they contact us,they can give Egypt money to buy Rafael to support Israeli blockade but not Pakistan because India will be unhappy and then US would be displeased...

in your dreams.......
They are already doing it

.
@Zarvan it looks like sunni -shia conflict in your opinion?
I hope its not the case because dragging Pakistan into this will basically nullify every effort we have made so far to reject TTP and LeJ.
Yes but we have to get involved and also put pressure on Iran to stop supporting Houthis

.
I think they did

they did yes? maybe they did

not

At the end of the day they have defence agreements with India, they dont give two hoots about Kashmir, treats Pakistanis like rubbish and prefer Indians. But i am sure you already know this. Point being there has to a line drawn in how far are we willing to go at length at the expense of Pakistan.

We must show the world, what it takes to be a super power and get benefits from GCC.
