Pakistan should play negotiator's role rather than take part in Yemen war, says Imran

Iran is not involved in any conflict, not even in grand mosque siege.
:-)

Iran send its military under un peace keepers.
Iran has agreement of military cooperation on advisor level with some countries.
IRAQ has officialy Requested help from IRAN.
IRAN is not a Bull or Fool like KSA or Pakistan that it will jump anywhere.

Hamas and islamic jihad are sunni and Iran;s ally and fighting Israel. They Do not say that Iran is invovled in ME and doing this and that. They are proud of Iran's support.

I and Niazi rarely agree - Well, this time he's right. But while we're at it, why not pressure Saudis into withdrawing their funding of Anti-state wahhabi elements.

Not to forget, Pakitan traditionally had a Rental Soldier Program for the middle eastern country (Zia in jordan, pilots for syria etc.)... It's still fascinating how pakistan is willing to join Saudi alliance, although facing terrorism on it's own soils...Nothing against the ISIS, but all at arms for the Houthis...These developments will be interesting.

I find that term to describe our soldiers as offensive and hateful.

Saudi is our ally, they support us in the time of need, we do the same. Arabs are creating a unified military. Pakistan will have strong relations with a mighty coalition spread from Gulf to Gibralter.

When Indian soldiers participate in UN missions, does it make them Rental soldiers as well ?

It is Pakistan joining the saudis in a clear way against Iranian backed Houthis. All Pakistan had to do was stay away from this conflict. The saudis are too incompetent to play the game of thrones in the middle so they started begging everyone to come bomb houthis. In the end, these aerial bombings will not achieve anything and Pakistan made another enemy...is that worth it? I know Pakistani people are not represented by their government, but still, how can your leadership be this retarded?

Btw, congrats on becoming a sernior mod.

WTF is Iran doing in Yemen ? Advising Pakistan to stay away in Yemen while Iran play hide and seek in yemen. What kind of retarded and hypocrit logic is that ? what are you doing in Yemen anyways ?

A retarded reply with no substance. If you can't reply properly, don't waste thread space.

This is what happens when your leadership is a slave for the takfiri saudis.

At least Pakistanis are as much independent that they can criticize their government as much as they want. Can't say much about slaves like you who are afraid of Basij or online police will pick him up if someone criticize Mullah Khomeni

Was pakistan's historical participation in Middle-eastern conflicts mandated by UN... if so then please let me take my words back...

Apologies for the term used, and edited in the post.
As far as concern for arab coalition is concerned, where was it at rise of ISIS? or Boko Haram ravaging through Northern Africa?

Is this concern limited to KSA and Jordan only?

Political government - Yes, the real government- i doubt.

I agree zarvan mindset is disappointing but people like him can be found every where on earth and pakistan is no different.
First you have to hope for yourself so india cannot swallow your puny country called Bangladesh. With a large military with nuclear weapons we can defend ourselves but i cannot see hope for your country in the next india invasion.
Yes in 1971 we did mistakes but your situation is more pity ful after what india did to you. After 43 years now you are little weak country which is incapable of defending herself with the same old called enemy called india.

Not a bad idea. Once inside the union, they cant divert water anymore . :D

@Irfan Baloch

The houthis would have risen regardless of Iran. Iran did indeed help them but Iran was not behind their rise. As you know the saudi family is very insecure, they known having a strong houthi run Yemen in their back garden is not a good sign, thus, you've seen them for the last few weeks moaning and recently starting this bombing campaign. Their bombing will not change the fact on the ground. Matter of fact, since this bombing, the houthis have still made gains on the ground.

Pakistan should not involve itself with this. There is no reason for you to get involved. Pakistan has no reason to help the al saud family. This is not about protecting the holy sites etc, Iran would never attack those sites, Iran is a muslim country.

This is a proxy war between Iran and the US and their puppets the saudis. The less you guys get involved the better. I don't want to see a bad relation between us, because I know the vast majority of Pakistan are not interested in being an army for the saudis.

If we do get involved I sincerely hope General Qasem Soleimani is pre-occupied elsewhere or else a lot of Pakistani mothers will be deeply aggrieved.

It just seems that pakistan is entering this for a quid pro quo for petro dollars.

So far they cant seem to decide if they are or are not. Its like they've become Canadians overnight.
"We are siding with the Saudis in this conflict against Iran.. SORRY"

O really send him we would tell who would grieve we have seen lot of jokers like these

The man is a brilliant military commander, a modern day Otto Skorzeny. I as a patriotic Pakistani hope he is not involved in any way in the Yemen theater, If we do get involved.

Army has to do what Nawaz say because he came with guarantee from US and KSA and Army is unable to deny any order from US and simple stop help saud and forget about cheap oil and other stuff no doubt KSA has helped us but we are not in condition to side with anyone we have a shia minority and sunni majority i will never like to see my land to meet fate like Syria and Iraq so say no to sectarian war @syedali73

Is that really true? That the Army has to do what NS says? So when it's time to show a weak NS, people like you start to talk about how the Army "ordered" NS not to do this or that. When you see risk, you try to dump it all on NS?

To tell you the truth, when NS came into power, the country was near bankruptcy. The Army knew it and if a war broke out with India and Pakistan was bankrupt.....what would you fire after a week? Empty guns ? As there won't be money to buy or fix anything during or post war.

Next, who'd pay for shinny 5 or 7 series BMW's the generals enjoy? No where else I've seen military generals riding government's super expensive cars, unless they were their own. But if NS orders new executive cars for foreign dignitaries, people like you think he ordered those cars for him, his dogs and cousins. How wrong are these silly, illogical accusations???

So if there is no NS, at this point of where Pakistan is, who can feed the military and it's ongoing appetite for advance weapons? And to grow the country? The answer is, NS has become Pakistan's real leader and he's taking it forward. Everyone else will bankrupt it. Read Wall Street journal, read Bloomberg, FT, etc, etc. And look around your country and see the infrastructure and progress. Militaries just defend a cough, civilians extend militaries as per the need of a country!!
