It sounds like a excellent Idea to me now, it'd further put pressure in India to hold a plebiscite in IOK
@WAJsal @graphican
No it won't. The GoI, will simply turn around and say, well they administered it. Their problem. We have the Article 370 signed and its constitutional.
Why Pakistan won't do it? It means, international community may turn around and say, great job pat your backs and say, brilliant, now Kashmiris have their own place, if the Indian Kashmiris want to move let them. There is also a problem concerning China. Tomorrow if the Xinjiang idiots land up in this region, who is going to control them? What is the guarantee, that Indian forces will not occupy Shaksam Valley? Too risky geo-strategically for Pakistan.
Thinking, because, Pakistan held elections the international community will support it is suicide. Now, assume India does not hold elections. Kashmiris who want 'azadi' migrate to the 'Azad' area. And tomorrow there is a problem with India. Will this new country now let Pakistan use its territory for warfare?
Also, have given my point of view on the thread you had started. Combine that. There is no way, Pakistan will let go of the territory it holds. It is suicide. What will the GoP tell ordinary Pakistanis? They believe its a remnant of Partition and should be with Pakistan. What happens if this constituency starts formenting trouble like the current Ukraine-Russia problem. Assume militancy breaks out in this territory and Pak non state actors are involved. Now, worst case scenario, assume the 'Azad' part now asks the Indian Army to intervene. What happens now?
Too many possibilities for disaster.
