I have Latino friends and they are no savages. The gangs and drugs are the reason why corrupt regimes survive in Latin American Nations, as the natural resources and exports are destroyed in these countries

Of course they are not savages even though some white supremacists would insist otherwise. But your response still doesn't answer the question: Why the vast majority of the 50 most violent cities are in Latin America? Why the dominance of gangs in that region? Why there and not in even poorer places like Africa?

I too have a good Latin American friend; his theory is that USA repatriated gang members back to his country and hence the violence; I don't buy that.

I think its something to do with exploitations in the region, and because the people there can’t really defend themselves or form a sort of Militia against Gangs. I’m not really sure though. In America Gangs can be combatted by Gun Owners. In Africa they can be combatted by Militias and Tribes but in Latin America I don’t think there really is anything like that.
