Pakistan risks losing trust of Gulf nations

GCC is betraying its gladiator (movie reference) by acting extremely vehemently towards us when we did not even do anything...anything wrong. When princes (GCC), in their state of arrogance and power, spit upon their loyalest and most able generals (Pakistan)---and execute general's family just to show "who's boss out here"---the generals, after one point, rise up against the princes to which they were loyal with their heart and blood. And then we all know how that ends.

Princes have been "spitting" on Pakistan brother. We don't like it, but we'll stay your friends because it is in our hearts. Pray to God that GCC doesn't do anything that turns us against you. Pray to God in all sincerity for your own sake, my Arab brother.

Kind of ironic, and not a little poignant, to read this post from a Pakistani.

Ironic because gladiators were slaves. Kept to fight for the pleasure of their masters.

Poignant because as a Pakistani, you are actually admitting as much in the lines above.

It's a risk worth taking , it's a risk we have to take . We are nobodies slaves or something , we did what's in our best interest .
To,

His Excellency Mr Anwar Gargash,
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,
The United Arab Emirates.

Dear Mr Gargash,

All of us Pakistanis are in receipt of your expression of outrage over the decision of our sovereign Parliament, to NOT bend over this time, grab our ankles, and allow a conflict with which we have no connection whatsoever, to pummel us senseless.

Your dire warning of "grave consequences" has left us all shaken. Terrified. We're literally quaking in our fuckin' boots. Now, we will no longer be able to enjoy your largesse, probably. No more swanky residences in Jumeirah, I guess. No more penthouse apartments in Burj Khalifa, either. Probably no more visits to the Dubai Cup, or the Desert Classic. Wait...I just remembered. NONE of those things applies to the lives of a vast majority of Pakistanis, anyways. It applies, at best, to the handful of political cronies, stooges, and yes-men of yours who have ruled our blighted country over the ages. Whew. Thank God. Your thinly-veiled threat of "grave consequences" doesn't matter the SLIGHTEST **** to the majority of us, after all.

The few of us who HAVE visited the Middle East, have been duly received with scorn, disdain, and disrespect...as if we were borderline untouchables. So, in a way, I'm glad that you're showing off your ugly - and very REAL - side to all of us. Before this announcement of yours, we were actually in two minds as to whether we mattered to you as "Muslim brethren". I think no one amongst us harbours any such illusions, any longer.

In a way, I am glad, too, that our young men will no longer be able to build your glittering cities, our toddler children will no longer race your smelly fuckin' camels, our womenfolk will not act as your maids, our people will not perform duties as servants and lackeys, and generally, do all those duties - as bonded labourers - that you and your ilk are incapable of doing, simply because you're lazy, smug, self-aggrandising, pompous, inefficient, incapable, and have actually no clue about how much you're derided, scorned, and made fun of. Clearly, the lack of intellect that prompted your personal vitriolic outburst, comes into play in us formulating a poor fucking opinion of you, and others like you. So...good riddance, Sir. Have a nice fucking day.

Sincerely...an Average Pakistani.

P.S. Lay off our endangered wildlife too, you bastards.

P.P.S. That last line was from an Average Houbara Bustard of Pakistan.

Because they think they are fighting a shadow of Iran, why should we join them?

When Irani foreign minister was in ISlamabd last week, he stressed on need to talk to Yemeni rebels and bring an end to bombings. This is a very reasonable request.

On the other hand, Arab have gone bonkers. They want to fight. God know who?

Alliance of Arab nations, whose member nations buy weapons worth $60 billion in one go, if they cant fight a militia on they own, what use their weapons then?

Also we should never favor Arabs against Iran or vice versa. If Arabs want to fight illusion of an enemy, we should not be consumed by their war hysteria.

Yemenis are Arabs and so are Palestinians. For Palestine, I at least did not see an alliance of rich Arab states threatening Israel.

Arabs are fighting for their interests. They recently funded terrorists in Syria, another Arab country, to fight their 'Sunni' interests against a 'Shia' regime. We should have none of this stupidity.

This is what Arab world has become - a joke.

I said "movie reference" ...Anyways, when we need the opinion of irrelevant indian, we'll ask.

Walk along.

It is a affair amongst us and Arabs...which are our brothers in Islam.

You can take a hike.

Both sides have done and undergone enough damage now diplomatically and politically, even if the decision is now changed it won’t reverse the damage of both the sides on the ground.

Far be it for me to come in between the affairs of slaves and their masters.

Did you even bother to read your post man? Its pretty pathetic. Dripping of hurt of the slighted slave after he has given his best years to his ungrateful master.

Thankfully I see a lot of Pakistanis here with their self respect intact. A good sign.

I am of different opinion which you may not like to hear.

Because you think Pakistanis are for sale and no matter how shitty we treat them, they will always say "labik" on our call. Reality check morons, Pakistan is not the same as it was a decade ago. We have had enough of this Ummah crap.
To Arabs
"If you cant finish a fight, Dont start One"

Nawaz would have done the same, had he the power. Its a good thing that strategic interests of Pakistan are now looked after by someone else.

It's the military's call and they will pass on this one.

You will see a lot of bitching by Arabs as the time goes along, it's good they realized now we can't be ordered around.

This is not our conflict and it is not good for the security of our nation.

UAE has supported Anti Pakistan element it's time to pay them back with the same coin.

.
What relations -- cheap labour force? You make me laugh dude!

Anyhow...... according to Arab commentators, the 'relationship' has taken a turn, now what? Let's see what they are going to do about it. Unlike them, we have retributions ready for them. Any wrong move and our response will be disproportionate, to say the least! :D

I think Pakistan last stance was a turning point in GCC-Pakistan relations.

This is all in your heads.

Trust is already lost after arab stared to show their true colours.Arabs are giving shelter all the enemies of Pakistan and expect us to send army not gonna happen this time.

.
If you don't participate in killing Yemenis, you become an enemy or lose the 'friendship'. Well I'd say, screw you and your friendship.

It's obvious now that they wanted to have Pakistani soldiers as cannon fodders on the ground to fight their illegitimate war, now that Pakistan refused, they don't darr to send their own armies to Yemen.

I think Pakistan knows well, not to get into a war that has no end...and to let the Saud finish what they started on their own.
Salman wanted to give his son, the new Saudi defense minister, some legitimacy to offset his inexperience on the back of the Houthis....Well he chose the wrong guinea pig to experiment on. In the 60's Egypt lost half of her troop with the same Houthis...

I have heard a news that Arabs are looking for a political solution.Perhaps Pakistan refusal played a part.

.
I'm all ears , especially what you have to say . Go on .
Well, in my opinion we should send our troops but make it clear to Saudis that the troops will not take part in any aggression against the Houthis. Why should we send troops to KSA? To show our solidarity for there is simply no doubt that KSA has helped us, Iran did too but that was before the fanatic Mullah took over Iran. We have hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis in Gulf, sending Pakistan with much needed foreign exchange, and an unrest in Gulf will directly and severely affect Pakistan. Lets forget about Nawaz's investments in KSA and Zardari's in UAE, we have to think about the Pakistanis in the Gulf and the support we get from the money they send home. We cant simply wash off our hands with the situation for our own interests are on stake in Gulf.

Raising some 2-3 division force solely for the protection/assistance of KSA should not be a problem. I am sure KSA will be more than willing to financially support this force both in terms of hardware, and salaries etc. While KSA does have a formidable Air Force, her Army is relatively small and substantially composed of Yemeni nationals, and with Iran being hellbent on stirring trouble on KSA's borders, KSA's needs for having a substantial presence of a dependable and 'loyal' Army are genuine. There is no need to jump into the conflict but staying outside in order to appease Iran is also not good. While KSA has made mistakes in Yemen, Iran ain't saint either. What is she doing in Yemen and why supporting Houthis? And why should we appease Iran when Iran has never supported our stance on Kashmir. Yes, KSA has also not supported as much but we have financial stakes in Gulf unlike Iran. What we have in Iran other than a hostile regime that has always preferred India over Pakistan. We do not have to irk Iran but we must not distance ourselves from Gulf to appease Iran too.
