What's new

Pakistan releases LeJ militant group leader

Who do you think is northern alliance? it is all US money given to Iran and Indian army in Afghanistan to destroy Pakistan...
shia regime of Pakistan.. is solely responsible for the killing in last five years and all the credit goes to Shabaz Sharif for keeping people safe in Punjab.

shias of regime of Pakistans work secretly with india against Pakistani interests and this is an open secret.

why not demand arrest of najam sethi and imran khan judiciary.

A gem of an argument..

Ahmadis are traitors working with India..never mind that Akhtar Hussain almost got you the Kashmir valley in 65 and oh another Ahmadi got you your pride...the nuclear bomb.

Pashtuns are all terrorists..never mind that Asghar Khan was the fellow who over saw the first concrete and in depth modernization of the PAF..which turned it into the effective force that it is and set the precedent for all such efforts in the future.

Baluch people are traitors...Shias are traitors now..do you need a list of people from among these communities who've worked with all their will for your nation?

You never seem to tire with hunting for "traitors". If you had so many of them in your midst we'd have gobbled you up already.

On that note.. @Hyperion...why don't you have so many traitors in your midst?! :pissed:

Pakistani Money To Iran please do share

do you not pay surcharge on gas bills? that is going to Iran!

Now can you bother to explain, why Asi Ali Zardari is releasing terrorists?

@Armstrong, this is precisely why you can't and shouldn't use Army within the country.
A simple solution: reduce the strength of armed forces by half, and spend that money on a new highly educated force which can deal with internal threats. At the moment Army is loosing all of it's battles, that of hearts and minds of it's population, and the on borders, as it has become impotent on a non-strategic level to deal with external threats.

Raise a new force where already established institutions are failing? Not something common sense would support, especially since you promote reducing the Army by half, the only working institution. Then how do you deal with the draw down? You suddenly have 250,000 jobless soldiers, how do you accomodate them? How do you cover the posts and positions while managing internal security while this new, magical institution is raised? Who trains them? What will be their mandate? We already have a force that is supposed to do the said tasks that this magical force is to perform, it's the Police!

And how do you come to the conclusion that has been set in bold?

Surcharges are to cover the cost involves in bringing gas to your house they cover debt repayments finance charges and maintenance.

No personal attacks, BATMAN and DESERT FIGHTER.

=Icarus;4330370]Raise a new force where already established institutions are failing?

Most if not all crown coroprations or AKA established institutions are under the command of retired Army personals.

Not something common sense would support
,

Common sense will dictate firring all incompetent personals and allowing people who can actually make a difference to come forward which is not the norm in pakistan since army wants it all including dictating foreign policy.

especially since you promote reducing the Army by half, the only working institution
.

Working for Whom sir?

Then how do you deal with the draw down? You suddenly have 250,000 jobless soldiers, how do you accommodate them?

Through attrition not hiring or replacing the ones that retire or offering early retirement packages to ones who will take it.

How do you cover the posts and positions while managing internal security while this new, magical institution is raised?

Yes who isn't aware of internals security in pakistan?

Who trains them? What will be their mandate? We already have a force that is supposed to do the said tasks that this magical force is to perform, it's the Police!

checks and balances plus free and fair judiciary laws in place that will make the difference you no the laws that are blocked by terrorist sympathizers who are also part of the law makers in pakistan.

Well the present one doesn't seem to be succeeding spectacularly either, or is it? I mean GoP needs to sit down and chalk out a new way out, instead of an institution who has been half-assing different creations/and then solutions for those creations for the better part of Pakistan's existence, or maybe it had to do all with the "Indian" ghost? I mean, even there the net result has been a big fat zero. Bangladesh anyone? Am I saying something wrong here? A radical new approach with the old guard out seems logical to me. Doesn't it to you?

Solely because we already lack people with suitable administrative qualities.

Common sense will dictate firring all incompetent personals and allowing people who can actually make a difference to come forward which is not the norm in pakistan since army wants it all including dictating foreign policy.

Speak facts, not opinions.

Working for Whom sir?

The interests of this nation.

Through attrition not hiring or replacing the ones that retire or offering early retirement packages to ones who will take it.

Care to explain?

Yes who isn't aware of internals security in pakistan?

Indeed, which is why we understand that the Army is being made to take responsibilities for the Police as well.

checks and balances plus free and fair judiciary laws in place that will make the difference you no the laws that are blocked by terrorist sympathizers who are also part of the law makers in pakistan.

Good luck with that, Checks and Balances nor your free judiciary could stop Malik Ishaq from walking out of jail today...........again!

Dude, you are on a roll. Please do continue. :what:

Note to rest: Enjoy :pop:

We are in dire need of anyones honest opinions. Never shut anyone out. We can all decide later for ourselves, what is in our interest and what is not.

It's doing well enough, the steep decline in the number of terrorist incidents in Pakistan would imply that we are moving in the right direction.

So for some mistakes that a crazed man made in the 80s, you wish to dissolve the Military that is now the only thing standing between the terrorists and this nation's jugular?

I mean, even there the net result has been a big fat zero. Bangladesh anyone? Am I saying something wrong here? A radical new approach with the old guard out seems logical to me. Doesn't it to you?

Can you take a perspective that is based on more recent event? Say this decade?

Look, my recent perspective is this: Yes, in the last 3 years, the military seems to be mending it's ways. However, do tell me one thing: What is the guarantee that it won't go back to it's old ways? I mean ANY guarantee would help. As every-time they fvck up, they fvck up on a ginormous scale, repercussions of which give the nation sleepless nights for decades.

A person who murders another? Shouldn't he/she be killed in return? Unless blood money is asked by the relatives?
