Pakistan refuses to sign three multilateral pacts at SAARC summit: officials

Bears like money , until you have a lot of those all they are doing is lip service. You do Business with people who has something to offer .

So where is the isolation part? Last i knew, barring Israel, Pakistan enjoys relations with all nations that have relations with India. In the gulf/Afghan region, Pakistan reigns supreme anyway.

So please tell me again, where is the isolation part?

Did Bangladesh restrict Pakistanis?
Pakistanis have been investing heavily in Bangladesh/Srilanka.

You are on my anti-IK, pro rigged-government hit list so naturally I would avoid tagging anyone from there on sensitive issues like this one! :D

glad to hear that, how much to remove me from all lists?

If India and the other countries can "sign trade deals between themselves", then why do you think Pakistan can't?

Because Pakistan's only neighboring member states are India and Afghanistan, Pakistan will not find much incentive in signing the deal - unless it is ready to listen to its traders.

.
Nothing to do with any "trust deficit". When Pakistanis and Indians meet abroad, they are like long lost best friends, even more friendly than their own Pakistani or Indian friends. I know it because I have seen it myself. Our governments should reflect ground realities, and ground realities are such that we as a nation we DO NOT hate each other anymore. Its our propaganda ministries run by extreme right wing or left wing that are always spewing hatred between us for their own political goals.

Please see the discussion on the pros & cons of open trade with India in the existing thread on the same subject. There are valid reasons against opening up trade with India.
LOL! HOW CAN THERE EVER BE CONS IN AN OPEN TRADE RELATIONSHIP? Although I acknowledge open movement of people between people is bad as Pakistan was worst affected by Afghan war refugees, but open trade? C'mon!

.
So, if the lack of trade agreements between Pakistan and other SAARC nations is by choice, then obviously it is because Pakistan does not see any significant economic advantage in it, which means that any such agreement under the umbrella of SAARC would be subject to the same rationale - so how would you justify your comment that "Pakistan would be the loser if it does not agree to trade under the SAARC umbrella'?

Having a road transit, and power connection to other SAARC countries will be very beneficial to any country involved in this. How do you not loose by refusing these deals especially when you are having issues with electricity ?

Pakistan can trade with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh via the sea, so if those two countries are willing to open up their markets under SAARC, then why would they not want to do so under bilateral trade agreements?

lol, Pakistan alone refuses to sign deals with other SAARC countries and you ask me where is the isolation ?

None share borders significantly increasing the costs:coffee:

Again, trade via sea is not inherently disadvantageous, and Pakistan can and is working to develop energy transit projects with its neighbors to the West, and can work with SAARC countries on a case by case basis to develop projects to import energy.

Currently I have four types of hit lists. One is for pro-Pakistan, pro-PTI members. Second with its opposite; anti-IK, anti-Pakistan members. Third is for Indian members of all sorts. And final one is reserved for Islamist sympathisers or terrorists of PDF! :D

You are currently in only anti-IK hit list :)

So Pakistan refuses to sign the deals?

Well, i would be concerned if other nations refused to do business with Pakistan, because then, that would be isolation.

But alas, like always, your idiotic argument falls flat on its face.
