Pakistan has lodged strong protest on violation of its airspace by NATO helicopters.

At a flag meeting between Pakistani and NATO officials, it was agreed that both sides would improve coordination to stop such incidents in the future.

Earlier, two Pakistani security personnel were injured when NATO gunships pounded their check post in North Waziristan, bordering Afghanistan.

lol this is very funny " STRONG PROTEST"

why are they protesting?? because the nato attacked army and not civilians???

there is halla gulla in government when an army guy is killed, there is absolute silience when the thousands of civilians are killed or displaced from their homes

dude u call that a protest? thats a joke man

Look at what's become of the once honorable Pakistan Fauj -- now it chooses to live like a dog of a cruel master - happy to take US money, careful to do a crappy job at killing the Islamist enemy, imagining that the Islamist enemy can become once again, the Fauj's dog ---- Nowhere, notice, is there anything about what the Fauj is supposed to be about, nowhere what it is that the people of Pakistan expect from the Fauj.

Only a "reconstructed" Fauj, under civilian leadership, accountable to the people of Pakistan, can live up to the expectations of the nation - the sooner and the more voluntarily the Fauj approaches it's "reconstruction", the better for it and for Pakistan -- Pakistan will not continue to accept the Fauji tyranny it has been willing to accept for long - they now realize that the enemy is not who the Pakistan Fauj have insisted it was and they realize that the Fauj would rather take money from Pakistan's enemies than protect Pakistan, the people remain confused how it is that the army claims it cannot kill off the Islamist threat it created in the first place.

ok you can do halla gulla next time a civilian gets killed infact you should go do halla gulla right now by doing self immolation so that there would be one lesser idiot in Pakistan.......

I see you are assuming that the NATO helicopters crossed the border before the Pakistani troops fired on them. Would you consider the possibility that someone at the Pakistani outpost, perhaps outraged by the American attack on bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, fired at the helicopters first? Alternatively, could the Pakistani troops made a mistake in judging the distance to the helicopters and mistakenly believed they had violated Pakistani air space when they were still over Afghanistan?

How cute, you know borders have a no-fly zone, presumably because once you enter that zone and the other side doesn't start shooting we won't get a chance to shoot any more if the US starts shooting at us

Oh and guess what US has developed a pretty solid trend of shooting at us.

Oh and just in case you like to plead the defence of "but there were terrorists in the area", perhaps a phone call would suffice about whom you are going to go out and attack.

Oh but you had no time, well we have no patience for getting shot at either.

Pakistanis didn't shoot at you because of outrage, this is their job! You're not the only ones who have to defend their country,
