Very bad move by Pakistan.......Pakistan should not send troops into the Middle-East.....but then what can we do?

After all the Saudis have deep relations with our powerful army.........they built those relations right for this time............time to cash in on investments.

.
I hope it is bogus, but there is much apprehension that Pakistan will not be able to resist the Arbi and the American - it should be pointed out that prince Bandar and a Bahraini minister were allowed to meet with Gen. Kiyani, in the context of events in Bahrain

Muse - every tom, dick & harry gets to meet the 'General' when they come to visit the 'Islamic Republic'!!!

.
Pakistan already withdrawn 1Lac troops from Indian border now its bharati army turn to withdraw 1Lac troops.

Irrelevant to the thread as the talk is not about Indian army deployments.Thanks.

BTW even if whole Pak army is withdrawn the Indian Army is going nowhere.

.
The Saudis need to give Pakistan something BIG for doing this favor, and I mean something really BIG in the lines of something like free oil for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for 50 years. This is a huge sacrafice Pakistan is making especially in our foreign diplomacy with our immediate neighbour, Iran.

Free oil? Sir, may i ask your what are you on about?, for as far as i know Saudi Arabia has given so many "Gifts" to Pakistan that you cannot even imagine.

The Governments of UAE, Bahran, Saudi Arabia have invested in our farmlands, donated powerplants, given loans for natural disaster relief along with so much cheap oil...........

They have also allowed Pakistan access to their military assets in the past in case of war....plus recently Saudi Arabia deferrer oil payments for Pakistan.

The arabs knew that we have strong and well trained and tested army...something they don't have. They have army, we have the men for job.

Why do you think that SSG had stationed it's men to protect the Saudi King....even when Musharraf was target of two assassination attempts in the past?

This is incorrect, gen. Kiyani's unique position in the political set up is such that the executive and legislative agree to such a military and political position, foreign dignitaries recognize this

Chalo, as long as Pakistan gets free gifts I guess its worth it. These Gulf countries are f!lthy rich and will never run out of Oil. Pakistan can use the money, the oil, and these other free gifts from the Arabs :smokin:

Iran has not given Pakistan anything :toast_sign:

I did a search on this article, and the only sources I can find for this article are two number sources. No source that can be called reliable.

.
At the time of the Aimal kansi episode a US attorney general once said "given the right price, Pakistanis will even sell their mothers"!!

From this

Only enemies of Islam will benefit if Muslims fight with each other. I know that majority of Bahrain's population is Shia even though the rulers of Bahrain are Sunni, but Pakistan even though is Sunni Majority has the 2nd largest Shia population in the world and the founder of Pakistan himself was Shia Muslim as well as the current president of Pakistan who is Shia Muslim. So please Iran, dont think Pakistan is anti-shia because we aren't.

By the way, I think Pakistan should be neutral and not be involved in Bahrain's personal issues.

You want another hostile neighbor in your midst?

India will do that to make Iran hate you...Afghanistan is trouble....We will have 3/4 troubling neighbors.....with least amount of forces in Balochistan..........how can you handle a growing threat from Iran then?

We are in a helpless situation because of our financial position.

The arabs know this....so do the West......and Arabs now want their investment back....but by suppling Pakistanis to help support tyrant rulers.....goes against all moral values.

Youtube search for Bahrain protests or Saudi ones.........inhumane treatment...including to Pakistanis.

Again guys, let's not jump the gun. The less said about WND as a source the better, just check out their homepage. Seems like a classic western conspiracy theory website. I am unable to find any reliable source for this claim, and I did a lot of search on google.

.
good move...we can send commandos over their, then why not troops ...

bharatis are only good at stalking and :blah:

Every country looks after its own interests including Pakistan. Besides, we are not talking about people's mothers here we are talking about foreign policies of countries. Pakistan has no problem with either Iran or Bahrain or Saudi Arabia, but I think if we had to chose Pakistan would probably chose the Arab Gulf countries particularly Saudi Arabia.

.
Good.

It will bring in the much required money.

And Zardari?

I thought I read in these thread that it was a sin for Muslims to kill Muslims.

How will that aspect be reconciled?

Well, Zia had no qualms in killing Muslims in Jordan and he claimed he was a pious Muslim!

I presume it is should be OK then.

Pakistan does have a problem with Iran, like it or not and there is enough on that. For instance, the Pakistani attack in Eastern Iran!

This is not new.

Fresh from the Jordanian support in 1965 king Hussein asked for PA help in crushing the Palestinian resistance fighters. Pakistan happily obliged and Zia helped snuff out the last credible Palestinian resistance to Israel.

.
A question for those who approve, should this story be true:

Who is the enemy ?? Are Pakistani soldiers really to be used to suppress citizens on the command of Princes??? Really?? You think such a think will be without repercussion inside Pakistan and elsewhere?

Is that the kind of morality you would want for Pakistan? Think it over.
