He is convicted for defying the country’s highest court, yet he has refused to resign.


Pakistan’s embattled Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has no plans to quit even after he was found guilty of contempt charges over his refusal to reopen corruption cases against the President.

But now his political rivals have thrown a fresh legal challenge to his rule.

Both PTI and PML-N are taking the wrong course, in my opinion -- having a government run it's term is important, whereas Mr. Gilani and sons, well, investigate the corruption charges and if there is evidence, let the court handle it.
