Why are we buying Mi 35s when India is retiring them?

Good for Indian if they are retiring Mi-35. For Pakistan, Mi-35 are being used by ANF and Pak army.

Pakistan will purchase upto 20 examples. 5 delivered and next batch of 5 ordered to be split between PAA and ANF.

Actually all will be under PAA control but at least 5 subordinated to ANF for anti narcotics and smuggling interdiction. To be based at Quetta / Samugli.

I wonder if Indians have any restrictions placed on them as well that Pakistan cant use them on Indian funded BLA terrorists and would only use them on Smugglers?

No matter how upgraded they are but their airframe has limitation we need turkish halo in numbers

In future, 9× Light Commando Battalions folded together can form an Airborne Division with 3× brigades. Current priority is COIN, so the battalions are dispersed at the rate of 1× LCB per Corps HQ.

Pakistan should arm k-8 and other trainers in lower class to take on western borders with Afghanistan and Iran

These k-8 should be armed to teeth with advance air to ground stuff
Also get these helicopters to support them

Hmmmm in that case we should think about newer transport fleet

We desperately need Helicopter production in Kamra PAC. Along with medium and heavy lift fixed wing programs.

Some options are KC-390, Y-20, A400M(European too expensive), Antonov 178, Antonov 70, Antonov 188(Tyrkey is jumping on this future project.

Also some future air dropable IFV,AFV projects will also be beneficial.
