Pakistan offers India bilateral arrangement on non-testing of nuclear weapons

Why India not join CTBT?

Because India feels it is discriminatory. Pakistan meanwhile does not sign because India does not sign !!

BiLateral treaties are actually confidence building measures...

This subject has been discussed before too , how dodoes it matter to India if Pakistan tests more weapons or does not test ?

This a shoddy attempt to show a fig leaf to the world on a subject that is of no consequence.

The Indian radar has a lot more things to look at while the Pakistani radar only looks at India. Lastly such ' CBMs ' only work in favour of China.

Great idea. How will a treaty now help people of the Indian sub continent ? Weapons already exist. The treaty offered does not cover their use.

How about offering a treaty on is of ' non state actors ' & UN declared terrorists?

.
India will sign NPT, CTBT etc when India is treated as one of the nuclear haves state like the P5.

India is pro-global abolishing of nuclear weapons.
how can u say that india is pro-global abolishing of nuclear weapons
u made the bomb first and forced us to make the nuclear bombs if u had never built any a-bomb pak would never think of building an a-bomb
actually its india who state sponsor of terrorism ,who supplied weapons to taliban, daesh

If Nawaz shareef is a Muslim terrorist then Modi is Hindu Taliban, If both are the political leaders of their nations then they can do it.

India made bomb to couonter China's nuclear bomb.. Pakistan created it after India did... blame China if you want for India's bomb...

. .
u had been trying to make a-bomb since since ur independece by ur Nuclear scientist homi bahba
Homi Bhabha was responsible for India Nuclear Program... and not the Nuclear Bomb... Nuclear bomb came into action after China conducted first Hydrogen Bomb test in 1967....

.
I don't know if there will be a nuclear war between Pakistan and India but here on pdf keyboard warriors have already thrown nuclear BS on each other...hahahahahah

.
So you built an atomic bomb in just 3 days?
We made it within a decade after indias smiling Buddha.
It wasn't our choice to opt for nukes and when we were forced to opt, we adjusted to situation very well and developed the technology.

India followed China and then Pakistan responded to indian steps in field of nuclear technology for military purposes.

India made bomb to couonter China's nuclear bomb.. Pakistan created it after India did... blame China if you want for India's bomb...
And China did it after Russian H bomb testing and Russia did it to counter america.
And america did it to teach lesson to Japan and the chain reaction dates back to Japanese attack on pearl harbor that pulled america in to WWII.

India didn't make the bomb for Pak, it was a move against the US.

India doesn't supply weapons to Taliban or the ISIS.

CTBT is a complete comprehensive band on testing of Nuclear Weapons. Actual nuclear weapons with the mushroom et al.

Technology has gotten to a point where a physical test is not longer necessary, and even then there is always the option of 'cold-test', where a trigger is fired.

None, of the weapons active states is going to test any weapon. The status quo is not testing them, especially after the Vela Incident, no-one is in the mood to see anyone else freely dangling their balls around.

This vindicates the point that the offer by Pak is inconsequential & more like an attempt to appear accomodative . No one gets fooled by a show of such dried fig leaves.
