Pakistan offers aid to Lebanon ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has offered humanitarian aid to Lebanon, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz here said.
Aziz also exchanged views with Senator Mushahid Hussain over Lebanon, who is also chairman of the Senate foreign affairs committee, during the committeeââ¬â¢s meeting here.
Pakistan prime minister condemned Israeli aggression against Lebanon and expressed solidarity with the people and government of Lebanon.
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said that he had also called to his Lebanese counterpart Fuad Siniora and offered cooperation and help from Pakistan.
The international community should take notice of the grim situation and must take steps to ensure security of Lebanon and protection of lives and property of the innocent population, he stressed.
