Apparently 1 million troops aren't enough
Pakistan 660000 troops along with 3,60,00 Para military troops are not enough to cover elections in two provinces.

Instead Pakistan will need 2 million troops for elections in all provinces

PTI should use their foreign funding to hire the Taliban to kick out the NaPak fauj and make Imran the Amir ul Momineen of the Islamic Emirate of Pakistan. No elections necessary.

.
Most of the force is occupied in Baluchistan for supervising oil smuggling through Iran, hence we don't have enough numbers for elections.
The higher ups in Balochistan for the $$$ from the smuggling racket.

Coming back to the topic, the army need not be involved in elections security at all. (I have a gut feeling they charge the government for the services, however cannot confirm)

The police should be able to do this job. If need be, backed by rangers.

.
Doesn't Pakistan have Rangers in each province already ? Why can't they help local police to maintain order in election booth.. Calling Army for elections is a joke..

Just a execus.
Pakistan can use Rangers, Troops from different military branches, with support of other Institutions under Federal.

Okay even if its the case 2008, Pakistan was in much worse condition why Pakistan was able to hold these elections.

If Military was facing such shortage was this was never brought up before and State bodies were informed.
