As long as Pakistans legit security concerns are ignored Pakistan must just do the needful, just like what the US does. Every country does what is in its interests. Trump will learn that he needs to work with Govt of Pakistan if he really wants to "get things done" and do "a tremendous job" as he claims he will.

1. Case for the continuation of the US camp in Afghanistan strategically is stronger thus warranting a full scale US invasion of Pakistan come what may; OR
2. Withdraw from Afghanistan, impose unilateral sanctions and militarily prepare the new attack dog India to start the war with Pakistan

It is likely that the madman will choose 2. No two nuclear countries have engaged in full scale wars with each other and US establishment is not stupid to be the first one to initiate attacking a nuclear state. They will use India and the Hindu is an eager pet to play 'go fetch'.
