Pakistan Navy’s 2300 Tons OPVs launched by Damen

. . .
Russia has small corvettes which can fire 1500 to 2000 KM range land attack cruise missiles.
Why do you want to fire land attack cruise missiles from Corvette? Or for that matter frigates and destroyer's? Why not fire them from land?

In June 2017, Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence signed an agreement with Damen Shipyards to build two offshore patrol vessels (OPV). The lead ship, PNS Yarmook, was commissioned in February 2020, and the second ship, PNS Tabuk, entered the service for the Pakistan Navy in November 2020.

After the commissioning, PNS Yarmook participated in the Mediterranean Shield operation of the Turkish Navy, which is conducted by the Turkish Navy assets only, marking the first foreign ship to contribute to this operation.

The technical specifications of the OPV:
  • Displacement: 2,300 tons
  • Length: 90 m
  • Beam: 14.4 m
  • Top Speed: 23 knots
  • Range: 6,000 nautical miles
  • Endurance: 40 days
  • Crew: 60+
The Yarmook-class OPVs’ propulsion system architecture is CODAD (Combined Diesel and Diesel), consist of 4 Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines delivering power to 2 shafts.

The Yarmook-class OPV is fitted with a 30 mm Aselsan SMASH remote weapon station, two Aselsan STAMP remote weapon systems, and a Phalanx Block 1B close-in weapon system. These ships will have land-attack capability after Harbah missiles are deployed..

The ships can house a helicopter and an unmanned aerial vehicle in separate hangars. Yarmook class OPVs can carry two RHIB (rigid-hulled inflatable boats), specifically one 11.5 m and one 6.5 m RHIB. The OPVs are designed to accommodate two twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) for special mission-based operations..

. . .
A Z20F [ naval version] with anti sub capabilities, 2x4 harba SSM, UAV and some sort of anti air even Ly60N updated will help make this a good naval patrol assett

except ly60N all other items should be in pipeline or in place by now

I think you mean the reverse. But 100%,this ship should be kept as an OPV... FINE, but it was not supposed to be a full fledged corvette. Its overall design is not conducive to it given the verticle stacks on each side prevent a complete protection provided by the phanlanx. That could have been somewhat mitigated if they had a VLS for a PDMS (MICA or VT1), BUT it isnt the case. Would have been better served with a different design if they wanted a true corvette, or enlarging the Azmat design.

Overall it was as stupid a move as getting a single OHP (alamgir). Had they gotten more, and done a Genisis upgrade then fine. But that wasn't the case

In complete agreement. This ship doesn't fit into the larger future naval combat roles.

Absolutely, which makes me wonder what was the actual thought process with this vessel and are its design limitations why they went with the slightly larger version in the next flight? I think this ship is great as a gunboat/cutter but i dont think it should be geared like its going to fight indian warships. It cant and would get sunk very quickly.
