May I ask why such aversion to the Quran?

There is no aversion to the holy Quran or Islam Sir, not at all!
I just don't like the use of foreign languages in our songs, period!
As a secular person I believe that religion has no place in politics or armed forces. Be it Islam or any pther religion.

Mind you that Pakistan came into being as a secular country and Jinnah was a secular person too. We did not take birth as an 'Islamic Republic'.

You know we lost AWACS in Ramadan , at time when soldiers were busy in prayer in Masjid. We paid huge price. We should implement strict rules in military about religion. When you are doing duty, keep Pakistan interest first, we should introduce rule to cut in salary per minute if they perform religious activities during duty time.
We are front line state on war against terrorism, we can't afford any hole in security. Pakistan is first for us.

You know those soldier you think shouldn't be allowed to pray during duty, they only embrace martyrdom in the name of Islam, you really think that 20000 or 30000 rupees are enough to convince someone to give their life?

Urdu is my language and I am proud of it. I don't like this song and object to the use of Arabic or any other foreign language in our national songs.

Please let us not be more arabic than the Arabs themselves. Be proud of our roots.

Stop being a hateful person unnecessarily. Urdu itself is made up of these languages: hindi, arabic and persian - according to currrent geography all three are foreign to Pakistan. Our heritage and culture is influenced by these languages.

And you are going to define what is appropriate for everyone else now ... I think the recitation was done very appropriately - maybe we should have hired an arabic speaking person to pronounce it more appropriately?

Yes Urdu itself is a Turkish word which means an army of words. But it is one of our national languages, Arabic is not. Thats the whole point.

religious duty is also a duty, and don't forget Pakistan was made in the name of Islam otherwise there was nothing wrong with United India.
And about the salary, that is what i am saying, you can not convince someone to give their life for money, nobody dies for money, but if you ask people to die in the way of Allah S.W.T then hundreds of people would raise their hands instantly to embrace martyrdom.
