Oh so you have your finger on the pulse of the 'general consensus'?

VTOL (at this stage) IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PN.....PERIOD!!

Oh, and you set PN policy? Or you are their prime policy advisor? You can't simply pass off your own personal conclusion - which may wel be correct, or incorrect - as if it's the general conclusion about which all agree. Nothing to do with what pulse I may or may not have my finger on. Show me official policy statements to this extent and it becomes a different discussion. Must you take/make this personal?

I do HAVE my finger on PN policy, YES!

and I am not under any compulsion to show jack or prove anything to you pretty boy!!

The last I checked.. the PN was interested.. in a VTOL UAV..
there was even a RFP forwarded to the local builders....
Unfortunately no local product existed.. and the timeframe for the purchase came and went.

USELESS message to navy buy huge things before buy small which we need most

Oh, but I am ?! >chuckle<

I suggest you put your money where your mouth is i.e. verifiable sources in the public domain.

And you can keep your 'pretty boy'-s*** to yourself: I've not addressed you immaturely or disrespectfully and the least you can do is show the same level of courtesy.

Most serious navies do in fact look seriously at VTOL UAVs.
MQ8B is in low rate initial production for LCS.

Navy VTOL UAV Tender history is as follows.

In FY 2008 - No results
In FY 2009 - No results - Navy did buy UQAB UAV system from IDS
In FY 2010 - No results
In FY2011 - 3 guesses for the geniuses among us!! Especially under the financial crunch environment that we are going through right now!

Plus if Navy was so interested in the VTOL UAV, it would not have launched a simultaneous tender for fixed wing UAV in which again FALCO and UQAB are main contenders!!

Very mature.... Stil doesn't make your claim/conclusion true, does it.
