A submarine coming up to periscope depth / snorkeling, means it's in an extremely vulnerable position.

Question:
1) Is the endurance of the batteries so washed out, that they had to surface in Paksitan's EEZ only 80NM / 148Km from the Pakistan's coastline.

2) The noise makers forced it to surface and acknowledge PN's presence.

Look at the above pic, the location of the sub is highly suspicious.

Note: 148Km = 80NM

2nd question is what is an indian submarine doing at persicope depth in enemy waters???Thats suicidal and no trained navy would do that.It negates the entire concept of stealth.

Finally,the persicope arrangement seen in the one black and white photo they released doesn't match either the indian kilo class,or sindhughosh class or the akula but is very similar to the agosta 90B class.So either they mistook their own submarine or this is a deliberate stunt to secure more funds from the army dominated budget.

Regardless of songs and your attempt in being a seal fighting over a grape; the Sub was detected early by happenstance due to an exercise taking place. It is likely that it was surfaced for either intelligence purposes or simply because the batteries on the 209 arent in a good condition anymore and need frequent snorkeling.

There are ASW tactics to push Sub to surface or periscope depth. PN may have pinged it to come on surface.

Deep down the water? like 0 m? That sub was sailing on surface... next time you will claim you detected a bright yellow round thing coming from India towards pak airspace and managed to sink it with in 12 hours of detection... the sun...

So,

Subs don't sail showing themselves in open waters---once they leave their base and submerge---they stay submerged. They are hidden assets and never surface when in vicinity of surface vehicles---. They can snorkel but never close to enemy waters---knowing that the area is under constant surveillance---.

The sub was PINGED hard and was forced to surface.

Yes.. it's something called international law and being professionals that we dont shoot aircraft out in planned ambushes or shoot patrolling troops in what is essentially a cessation of hostilities.
Perhaps you can write to the PN about being unprofessional warmongering bloodthirsty savages as the best role model to match the behavior you are suggesting as best for your own armed forces.
