Pakistan Navy forces out an armed Indian Submarine from Pakistani waters.

I thought these nuke subs were the beez kneez, this will send any navy into panic mode.

Just makes you think what kind of kit Pakistan has deployed.

Should have let of a few depth charges near it, and driven the sub crew nuts! Scarred them for life!!

*So I edited a few things into my post, but they didn't show up. I'm reposting instead.

Drop signaling depth bombs. Low power alternative to kill devices designed to make a lot of noise and shake the submarine, but not damage it. Used during the Cold War by both sides to let a submarine know it's been detected when all other forms of communication failed.

The P-3 can carry a few internally.

And if that doesn't get their attention then perhaps an actual torpedo will.

*That's not actually a torpedo, btw. It's an air dropped survival kit.

Dropping non-explosive mines or noise makers could suffice as an alternative to signaling depth charges, but mining is dubious since it can be construed as an act of war as well.

Low charge depth bombs remain the best way to get a wayward submarine's attention quickly and effectively.

Media reports (can't say how reliable) that the sub was chased off. So they must have used some sort of noise makers for sure.

Sir its OK not hurting the emotion, may they traveled through international waters and may they have some understanding, since we are not in any conflict with China and according to you if they traveled undetected and reach your shore its fine, but if we detect any chinese ship with our permision in our territory according to our strategic command we will take action and situation with INDO-PAK is not same with INDO-SINO,we are in conflict at LOC and you know all the forces are in highest alert with respect to
Sir,for your own satisfaction you can comment anything we are just commenting on defence forum.
but dont you think if Indian sub breach your territory you are suppose to take some tough action to prevent in future.
Just letting them go during conflict hour, what message are you trying to give to Indian Navy are you too soft or incapable.
Just my thought you may disagree.

We dont want war or any other drama for now coz we have so much to deal with inside like Cpec Operation zarbeazab panama leaks karachi operation

Why can't an Indian submarine stay submerged more than 60 minutes?..... Curry farts! :)

I kid our neighbors to the South...

On a serious note, i think Pakistan will have to up its naval game as it emerges as a major transit port. The Indians will try to strong arm and harass ships travelling to and from pakistan in an order to undermine shipping companies.

The intended effects may be delays, increase in insurance costs, and muscles flexing. This may amount to maritime terrorism on the part of India.

They cant because a large section of their sub fleet is in disrepair or undergoing upgrades. The 209s are just barely operational as well as the batteries on them are getting old( same reason why our Agosta's went refurbishment), they do have decent equipment but most of it is of the same class/era as our 90b's.

The Kilo's are in a much graver situation as far as upgrades and refit is concerned. Half of them need a refit badly, the other half that have been through a refit are facing operational issues due to poor safety and maintenance ethos than anything else.

The Akula is pretty much a training ship and does not possess the ELINT capabilities retrofitted to the 209's and possibly the Kilos.

Hindutvastanies caught pants down.Nanga kr k wapis bhaj dia Pakistan Navy nay :D
They have no logic; every Indian member here on this thread exists to troll and bring ZERO positive input to the thread.
Had they actual intent to debate; they would have pointed out to the surfaced sub, possible issues that it might have had, and the connection with PNS Hameed which went operational a few weeks ago.

Positive input like this or like Windjammer post who deliberately saying tiny egos so on. Am not sure who is adding positive argument in this thread. Especially 99% of members just talking like this apart professionals and some other. Check sunan post.

When Japan intercepts Chinese vessels or when China intercepts US navy ships in China Sea people sing a different song.

Now its all about humiliation and all sort of fancy stuff.

Well trolled by IN and they cant do a damn thing about it other than some chest thumping by kids on some forums.
You are pretty clueless aren't you? An IN sub is forced to surface in Pakistan's EEZ, is then chased of by PN, and you call it "trolling." Are you even aware of how much data PN would have been able to collect?

Lame attempt at saving face I must say.

this is not type209. we have spotted either american or chinese submarine.look at the mast in the pictures which is released today.this is not indian submarine.i strongly disagree.

A statement from Navy Chief saying "no second chances in the future" would be blunt and justified at the very least.

I wouldnt call it trolling I'd call it running away with tail between the leg.....be thankful we spared the crew and have a good weekend sir ;)
