no one's getting any J-11, PAF will replace mirage fighters with JF-17 thunder. how hard is it to accept that...?
anywayy and we might get Type 54 from PLAN, NOT Type 54A!!!
and one more thing Leander class training vessel is at the bottom of the ocean...
2 were bought as PNS Shamsher and PNS ZUlfiqar

shamsher was retired, and was used to get spare parts for Zulfiqar. however Zulfiqar was also later retired and was sunk by new Zulfiqar (F-22p) =D
have no idea if PNS Shamsher is in worthy condition to sail..

you need a fleet of atleast 8 to 11 ships mix of destroyers frigates missile boat, corvette an exilary ship plus submarines to guard an aircraft carrier. PN cannot even induct the required number of ships and subs in its fleet, how do u think they will be able to manage an aircraft carrier.. plus aircraft carrier is more of a forwarding base, Pak arm forces doctorine is limited offence /defence. in that you dont need a forwarding base. PN should fulfill its fleet requirement and concentrate on expanding its marines and seals providing them with latest equipments, should invest in producing innovative tech and making ships an subs in pakistan rather then buying, we have the tot of agosta 90, f22p, jalalat class missile but we are not making any of them i dont know why.... ideally would be 2 agosta 90 and 2 f22p. 4 missile boats by end of 2012 (made in pakistan) but its not going to happen becasue we are lazy and the top brass and govt miinisters will miss out on their cut of defence deals...

Also the number of orions is also incorrect....... there r 11 or 12 of those in PN inventory........ including the destroyed ones(which will also be replaced).

Two FAC boats are being built, one in china and other in Pakistan.First is due to deliver in October 2011 and hopefully second with in next two months after delivering first one.Then another two FAC boats will start manufacturing at same pattern.
But don't know when 2-Type54A will be handed over to PN..any Idea?

i hope pakistan blosters it's fleet with an aircraft carrier in the future.......this would be really cool....with indian and pakistani navy aircraft carriers lurking in the indian ocean......perhaps if relations improve we can go forward to joint exercises.....sometimes if wonder what will happen if we become allies....we would be a force to reckon with!!!!

well no new helicopter are huge blunder our sea king now is passed their life need to be replaced no new radars no new mines no anti sub drums which can go deeper
