PM NS tried to make good relations with India, Modi however did not respond in a good way.

Besides Pakistan has other concerns for opening trade with India. That is more to do with Terrorism than with Economic Prosperity.

I feel bad for Gani though, he seems very concerned about his own people, but is literally at the mercy of Pakistan, India and Iran.

Actually India doesn't care. We have our trade routes to bring Afghan minerals to India through Iran. As many Pakistanis are saying, why not your government allow one way flow of goods from Afghanistan to India. That would uplift lives of so many Afghans
