Pakistan Military Couple Married| Yay

.
The shalwar suit is less graceful. The Saree was the dress of polished Gentry whilst the Shalwar suit was traditionally for women working in the field. We need to get over this mentality of rejecting everything that seems to have roots across the border; Pakistan was made for the Muslims for the subcontinent, not for Muslims of just Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.. it is this thought process that broke us in two and holds the potential to break this country again.

Very well put.

Has Pakistan got 'Major' and 'Captain' ranks in the Air Force?? Nope! They may be from the Army Aviation Corps.

Can someone please elucidate?

As far as i know, there are no ranks of Major and captain in Air Force..!!!

According to my limited knowledge "Major" and "Captain" are the ranks in the army and "Flight Lieutenant" and "Squadron Leader" are the ranks in the PAF. Army uniform is normally Khaki while PAF uniform is light geryish. It looks like they are wearing some kind of ceremonial uniform.
Congratulations anyway.

They both are Officers of the army- Check their badges of rank.

They are wearing Blue Patrols - ceremonial mess dresses.

but still saris have killing look on slim bodies, especially black one8-)
Actually @Oscar is getting me wrong. I suggested for Shalwar suit simply because it is our national dress. Yes at one time when we were united (East and West Pakistan), it was politically correct to have Saree as the official dress for our women in uniform but now apart from the Urdu speaking community, nobody drapes sarees. Even among the Urdu speaking community not many ladies drape saree but prefer Shalwar suit instead. The last time my wife draped saree was some 13 years ago.

They both have wings. So they must be from the Army Aviation Corps. But the title of this thread reads 'PAF'. That sowed the seeds of doubt!

Or have they pinned the wings just for the pic? The lengths that people go to, to impress!!

The political correctness had nothing to do with the Saree as it was prevalent in many of the Muslim league Gentry pre partition along with the Gharara. The Shalwar Qameez was the practical dress limited to the Rural areas of western British India.Hence whilst the Shalwar Qameez made its way slowly as a day to day dress for the rest of Pakistan, the Saree and Gharara continued to play a role in representing its formal look.

Nothing more sexier than to salute a woman in the morning, and she still use her rank against me sometime, even when we are both out of the Military....

BTW congrat on the couple...

Not going to lie, a girl who knows what she wants is a turn-on.

. . .

Little does the poor major know that when it comes to the matters of the heart and home, the rank seldom matters.

Cant we get rid of this saree as an official uniform of our lady officers? Is Shalwar suit any less graceful?

You got an ideological disagreement with the Saree? Saree is more complicated to maintain and thats how women like it - complicated.

Are these pics being shared here with the approval of the couple???

.
Dont know which forces are they from whether Army Aviation Corps Or PAF but one thing is clear "both are very cute yar...":-)

The couple look great. Allah bless their marriage.

Now go forth and multiply and bring up good Pakistani children. :yahoo:
