I am not so worry. Cos Russia has lesser and lesser R&D funds. The product they make will always be stagnant while China economy growing every year and flush with talent, funds and investment will always get better.

If Pakistan dont buy, its more of Pakistan lacking the funds as China military product gets more and more expensive. VT-4 is an example. USD 5.8million each maybe out of reach of PA.

History dont always dont stay the same. In the past, China sell weapon product for funds. Now China is a rich country. PLA dont need to sell the best and we still have plenty of funds. J-20 and T99A2 tank no matter how much you paid is not available for sale...

VT-4 is export model of ZTZ 99 or light ZTZ 99A,
alkhalid is export model of ZTZ 96.
You do the math.
Even a ZTZ 59 can kill people,but of course,every country want to have the most advanced tanks all the time.
ZTZ 99A2 for China and T-14 for Russia. M1A2SEP for yankees!!

Forget the Ukrainian tanks. They were unable to deliver foreign trade tanks in the civil war. Americans have collected money, but Americans may not ship them F16 for PAF is the sad exemple. Ukrainians have collected money, but Ukraine has no ability to ship them.
