Iran's problems are different to Pakestan's. If iran's gubment doesn't fix this pop decline issue, Iran's society is looking at a very serious issue of a population implosion. It's all over the news:

These hamshahri type people you run into are those which just wanted to get out for the hollywood lifestyle.....lol. A lot of them found out or are finding out that it was probably not worth it leaving Iran. They all want to go to Los Angeles. Second choice is Europe. After this global recession which started 4 odd years ago, a large number of professional Iranians went back home as the job market is very tight now globally.

Anyway, coming back to this topic, this IP pipeline now might just happen. This will be good news and will wean Pak hopefully away from the IMF vampires, and more firmly with the Russia/ China/ Iran troika. That foreign minister of yours might bring back good news after meeting Lavrov in Moscow.

I have met a lot of Iranians who want to live here and never go back except for visiting their homeland. Most of them are very critical of the Iranian regime and try their utmost to mingle with Europeans so much so that the women dye their hair blonde and wear western clothes so they can't be identified until they speak. But most of them can easily be recognised for their Persian features. I think Irani govt should relax a few laws so people can breathe a bit but your country your rules. Most of Pakistanis, on the other hand, are economic immigrants and many are waiting for improvement in governance and economic conditions so they return back to their country and spend rest of their lives in Pakistan.


I'm in favour of Iran-Pakistan gas and oil pipelines and I wonder why this project has not been developed yet. We need to act in our national interests and stop accepting dictations from USA.

The battery limit on our side is built long ago. All you have to do is connect your transmission portion to it. This will totally recharge Iran/Pak relations. Iran has even volunteered to build the pipeline on Pak side.

If it wasn't the pressure from the IMF against this project, this project would have finished and be in service for many years now.

This is great news for Iran btw.......lol.......The US has finally managed to alienate three key non Arab muslim states due to its policies.......lol

This is nothing but intimidation tactics. Do you fellows really think that US/UK will put Pakistan on this so called 'terror financing' list there won't be repercussions?
