I have the ones by denim, and i am on the lookout to replace them, its been a while since i bought them and now they are ripped apart ----- i went to csd to check these out - didn't really like the build quality - checked with friends for reviews --- and most of them gave a negative rating ---

i have a pair of these,they are pretty good(comfortable and durable) and in service with the army

Depends how deep your pocket runs......i would suggest to go with Caterpillar, go for something lightweight and rugged...do not go for these delta type chinese knock offs, they are a big no no.......
If you can get someone to bring a pair of gorentex from abroad that will be the best thing otherwise go ahead with caterpillar......

There was one very skilled show maker in Rawalpindi saddar (where computer market is, don't know the name of exact street). He used to make on order, with precise measurementst.
Got one pair from him about 12 years ago, still using these in very harsh snow. I went there about three years ago but he was not there. Shop was occupied with computers.
If any one got info about him, kindly let me know.

Depends how deep your pocket runs......i would suggest to go with Caterpillar, go for something lightweight and rugged...do not go for these delta type chinese knock offs, they are a big no no.......
If you can get someone to bring a pair of gorentex from abroad that will be the best thing otherwise go ahead with caterpillar......

In my experience gore-tex are a big no no for hiking etc in Pakistan as they get very hot making the feet prone to sweat and blisters, the best thing I believe is getting someone to get either genuine delta or 5.11 boots.
I have been using my trusted boots for about a year now with no sign of wear or loss of comfort

Locally you can sort out a good pair from caterpillar (I like their boots.. But they tend to be a little heavy)... Or if you can find US Vibram etc from somewhere...

Again you won't find either under 10,000 RS.

I don't see any breathable waterproof membrane. On long military hikes moisture alone will kill the feet. In warm weather soldiers will die of elevated body temperature and dehydration. Sole looks some cheap shinny material.

Sometime they will have ridiculous sale on American holidays or end of financial year to save on Taxes. I bought almost $300 tracking/mountaineering boots for last than $100 once. Search for their coupons or clearance.

Go for the ones by Bata or 7.11 both are high quality, waterproof and built for these environments.

They might have now because I haven't been to Peshawar in almost 3 years, boots are not necessarily "purely military", back when I used to go there, they were a relatively common sight there

Lovely , modern and practical design like it

What I like about shoe is resembles a running (Mobility) shoe at bottom but still gives you rugged boot look

But I also like this one due to lovely leather work sturdy , solid bottom base to absorb serious KM hikes , perhaps better option for rocky forest or Mountains
