Pakistan, like India, won't bow to Western pressure – PM Khan

Dear PM Imran Khan, looks like india has already bowed down to the western pressure...
India’s oil demand has increased anyway, so we’re importing from wherever we want to meet our demands.

.
If Foreign policy is made somewhere else then how was suaar nawaz sharif registering FIR against people wanted in india.how was he ignoring mention of india as state sponsor of terrorism in pakistan and FO was following the same directive.if foreign policy was being made some where else how could he piss off Saudis by sitting in Qatar's lap. And humiliate them in open by a national assembly resolution from a ponytail ch%&÷a instead of a behind the scene response. Howcome hurieyet was not reached out while meeting hima malni and hosting indian steel tycoon. Who was making all these forign policy decisions for nawaz sharif? He himself.. on behest of west?.Cant be the usual "some where else" as all that foreign policy changed the day khan came in power.
Both have their fair share of blunders. Doesn't matter if Nawaz used the parliament to say no to troop deployment or Imran tried to form an alternate Muslim bloc. The powers that be have their lines of communication with the powers that matter.

Nawaz should have told saudis the needed behind closed doors and should have handled it diplomatically instead of taking veil of assembly.. There were very negative vibes for KSA among common people after the resolution. Regardless Saudis got what they deserved..they saved the snake in 2000 and the same snake bit them back.

I have to say, I’m really digging RTs headline choice 😂

Makes me wonder if line editors have direct lines to Kremlin.

Let just called them pro-Russia but at these point they are still fair and independent journalists.

But it is a great source for alternative news or truth.

One can determine what is real or fake by reading the facts or news they presented using logic and commonsense.

.
Very smart. This is not praising India, but using India as a shield.
I agree with it. Do you think west does not know about it. They are the biggest hypocrites. It just looks bad diplomatically when Imran/pakistan meets western leaders.

That's what diplomacy is all about, sir.

You know, I know you know, but I pretend you don't know, you pretend I don't know you know.

Pakistan, like India, won't bow to Western pressure – PM Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has praised New Delhi’s ‘independent foreign policy’ over the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Prime Minister Imran Khan has again blasted foreign powers that tried to pressure Pakistan to sever ties with Russia over its military operation in Ukraine, vowing to continue making sovereign policy decisions that are in the best interests of his nation and people.
“For these three-and-a-half years we have only tried to help Pakistan prosper,” Khan said about his ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, addressing a public gathering in the town of Dargai on Sunday.
The prime minister explained why he refused to join the international chorus condemning Russia for its attack on Ukraine, saying that Pakistan would have gained nothing by complying with the demand. The diplomats representing nearly two dozen missions, including EU countries along with Japan, Switzerland, Canada, the UK and Australia, “broke protocol by making the request” in a March 1 letter, he added.
Imran Khan faces a no-confidence vote this week, after he lost his parliamentary majority following multiple defections from his party. He scolded the opposition leader in the National Assembly directly, according to the Express Tribune, saying Shehbaz Sharif “polished boots when he saw a white man in a suit.”

“I took an oath that I will not bow before anyone but God,” Khan reiterated, bringing up the US-led global war on terror as an example of a policy decision forced by the West that eventually brought Pakistan nothing but suffering. “We became part of America’s war against terror in Afghanistan and lost 80,000 people and $100 billion.”

Pakistan has come under increased Western pressure to publicly denounce and distance itself from Moscow, after it abstained from a United Nations General Assembly resolution condemning Moscow's military actions against Kiev, choosing instead to remain neutral alongside 34 other countries, including China, South Africa and India.

Despite being a vocal critic of the Indian government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Khan gave credit to the neighboring country for making “independent” decisions in the interests of its citizens.
India is also facing international pressure and criticism for staying neutral and adopting a pragmatic approach to ensure the country's own energy security. New Delhi continues to buy Russian oil, available at discounted prices, as some countries have been avoiding it in fear of retaliatory sanctions from the US.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in Ukraine on February 24, with a stated goal to “demilitarize and denazify” its government, ensuring that its NATO membership aspirations no longer pose a threat to either Russia or the newly recognized Donbass republics, which have suffered seven years of siege by Kiev forces.

The US and its allies have accused Russia of starting an “unprovoked” invasion to occupy Ukraine. Moscow has seen thousands of harsh new curbs and sanctions slapped on it as a result, with the US, the EU, and others seeking to “isolate” and “destroy” the Russian economy.

Russia United even the impossible Pakistan and India. This is powerful, even India and China are united against US led hegemony.

Imran Khan is playing smart, he is basically calling out and standing up to any pressure placed on Pakistan to pick a side by simply saying ask India first, put pressure on them and when you convince India, THEN come to me and we will see

It's a good ploy and plan of attack

Not only does it call out the duplicity amongst some of these nation's asking Pakistan to go against our nation interests but in one move takes a shot at both them and India at the same time

If it was billo, Nawaz they would have bowed and bent a long time ago
You call it smart move?...... He is behaving like a kindy student who always quote others when apprehended by the teacher . Besides, India is ally of the west and have deep pocket.....they can say, sorry we can't do this for you but we will buy so much Billion $ worth of item etc......You are neither their ally nor have deep pockets....so this comparison by him is not appropriate.

On the bold part, they will not come to you....they will make you go to them and plead ...... FATF black listing, IMF loan blocking, Pressure through Arab countries, create political destabilisation etc etc...they have lot of aces up their sleeves...hope IK would be having some in response.

.
And why should we bow down to western pressure.

Ukraine crisis is not our problem. We must stay neutral.

When Pakistan was losing its people and Afghans were being blown up in drone strikes on weddings during the Afghan occupation, nobody cared in Europe. Now the tables have turned, they don't care either.

In fact not very smart.
Smart people do the do and don’t go around announcing these things in public gatherings. That’s good diplomacy.

I think those times have past, I think no one is in the mood to just allow white countries constantly use this hypocrisy to further their own gains at the cost of the world

There is. is term for this in Hindi / Urdu : Dum Challa
and this is not something to be proud of

Strong leaders take initiatives/ make decisions and not hide behind others for their deeds

Very smart. This is not praising India, but using India as a shield.
No Smart but sign of weak leader, using others as shield for your decisions

No Smart but sign of weak leader, using others as shield for your deeds

He has taken the initiative and he has pointed out the hypocrisy

He has simply said don't bother us and at the same time put the onus on western states to target India

Now if they target India, then we might consider their request, if they don't target India then we consider their request biased and worthless
