Pakistan-Israel relationship

Relation between countries is based on co-operation and bilateral benefits. In such relations one party have to offer something and gets the benefit from other one. So basically we can never create a relation with israel, since it dont have anything to offer to us and same goes for us as well. And second reason is that israel has a very close relation with india which is our arch rival and finally israel attitude is not good towards islamic countries.
So in short we cant and dont need to create a relation with israel.

I also think that the right wing of each country is destroying their own countries.
Right-wing or left-wing, doesn't matter as long they are protecting their nations' collective interests responsibly. Israel was founded by marxist-socialist Jews. Israeli politics in its early years was dominated by left-wingers. It was they who fought and won existential wars for Israel in 1967 and 1973. So came right-wingers to eat the fruits in 1977. They have stayed in power ever since and helped develop Israeli economy from a socialist one to market-oriented technology nation. Sadly, same people are very pro-settlement in Judea and Samaria (west bank) which is a waste of national resources IMO. So you see all left-wing is not bad and all righ-wing is not good either. Every political ideology has its pros and cons :)

Finally, Israel and Jews are better off because of Ashkenazi Jews. Without them, Jews and Israel would be another basket case of the Middle East.
Not true. Majority of Israeli Jews today are Mizrahim and Sephardim, not Ashkenazim.

Turkey has normal relations with Israel, they don't turn a blind eye...considering the fact they even subscribe to the religious angle.

EU (bar UK) is no longer turning a blind eye as well. Then there is South America too.
Ok but what do we need them for? We have saudis on our side, china on our side but still we dont progress. What good is having relations with Israel going to do to us. Plus they may not be interested considering the hatred our nation has towards them.

.
How can you have normal relations with a state whose actions you dont agree with? It would mean everytime they hit palestine you'll have to turn a blind eye to it.

You have relations with US despite that you don't agree with her actions, you have relations (although not normal) with your enemy India.

I'm a selfish person...I will get to travel to Israel on my passport :)

I believe Pakistan should have relations with Israel. Both nations created the same time, only nations created for religious purposes.
BS. Neither Israel or Pakistan was established in the name of religion alone. Both nations' driving force was nationalism. In case of Israel, Jewish = Zionism. In case of Pakistan, Muslim = Pakistan Movement!

So basically we can never create a relation with israel, since it dont have anything to offer to us and same goes for us as well.
O'really? Israel is a heavy high-tech nation with established military industries. They have many state-of-the-art products to offer technology hungry Pakistan in both military and corporate sectors.

And second reason is that israel has a very close relation with india which is our arch rival and finally israel attitude is not good towards islamic countries.
Yeah, well that's because Pakistani leaders were stupid enough to not establish good relations with Israel before India got the opportunity :D

Only Pakistanis are too emotional and stay away from Israel, off-course for their Arab dear and near ones lol
LOL. Typical al-bakistanis. Bootlickers of their Arab masters :D

All arab countries have good relations with India. No one cares about Pakistan rivalry with India.
Of course. They don't give a damn about al-bakistan or its people. We are just slaves and bootlicker for them :D

What good is having relations with Israel going to do to us.
What good relations with Arab Islamic states did for Pakistan ever but evil Islamization and radicalization of our once peaceful society?

Plus they may not be interested considering the hatred our nation has towards them.
And exactly what harm has this tiny Jewish nation of Israel done to almighty Pakistan? :D

relationship with Israel is not easy as so many members here believe .. its much more than religious reasons , dont forget they help India in Kargil , and in any future conflict they will again help India... and Jews are not one's to be trusted

Yea so why carry another rotten egg in the basket?

Even rotten egg is useful to throw at someone's face :pop:

But anyway, Pakistani not having relations with Israel haven't helped Palestine as well neither for us. We can benefits from having relation and still stick to our stand for rights of Palestinian people.

If Pakistan had asked these non-trustable evil Jews to help against Indian aggression in Kashmir, I have no doubt the would have sold us their advanced drones in this regards. Business has no religion :D

This is a big misunderstanding Pakistanis have, that Israel was "created for religious purposes." It was not. Zionism is a nationalist movement envisioning the return of a long-exiled people to the land they indigenous to for over a thousand years.

Jews are a people and Judaism is their usual religion - there are no religious tests, save for those who wish to "join the tribe" through conversion. You are Jewish if your mother (or maybe even your grandmother) was Jewish. Your civil rights are not affected by your religious practice. Thus Muslim Jews do exist and can claim the right of return to Israel.

It's important for Pakistanis to understand this, that civil law trumps religious observance in Israel. Otherwise Pakistanis go through life thinking, "if Israel can do it, why can't we?" Rabbis figured out around the year 1200 that a truly workable Jewish society would have to be pluralistic to avoid the terrible pitfalls that led to the destruction of the Temple and the Dispersion. Thus Israelis may grow more religious but are unlikely to embrace much more government-mandated religiosity as a solution to their problems; rather, government laws about kashrut, cars, buses, etc. will be dictated by the balance between individuals and communities to practice their degree of observance with minimal friction and maximum liberty.
