Moreover the local, agricultural development offices have good educated staff. I have visited them once. They guide very good.

My Uncle had once goat farm and most of them died.
Two things about goat farming:

• They need a lot of space as their digestive system is so designed that they need a lot of walk. Otherwise a huge loss may occur due to diseases. That's why open grazer goats are in good conditions. If you don't have bigger space, a lot of medication and care would be required.
• Their choice of food is very delicate. Bigger animals can eat almost anything and sustain.

If you want to farm them for beef, I think calf farm would be more easy to manage. If for dairy products, then cows are best. With cows you can keep hens and chickens. They wouldn't require feed. They can feed on material and insects out of cow dung. We have around 1000 egg laying hens without applying chicken feed.

During my student days back in the late 1950s/early '60s in Lahore, there used to be Cheese produced in Peshawer available in the Tolinten market opposite the old University campus. It was something in between cottage cheese & cheddar.

That's still a thing but there should be more variety and I fully believe that the people of Pakistan havent been properly introduced to the beauty that is cheese

Actually there's no place for cheese in our local cooking.
Same is case for olive oil. Everything goes into dalda banaspati or dal.

It's coming but very slowly. Though we have very rich production environment for both cheese and olive oil.
