What's new

Pakistan is testing a new monster piece of mobile artillery next to the Indian border.

.
Horus says Pakistan never tested Denel so it's getting confusing now
Read it long ago, but it seems T5-52 back on table again. Part of idea 2016.

"The Yugoimport-SDPR NORA B-52 is a lighter system at 28 tons, but it is also comprised of a 155 mm 52-calibre gun mounted to a Russian KamAZ 8×8 truck. The NORA B-52 can fire standard and base bleed shells to 20 km and 41 km, respectively (Army Technology). The NORA B-52 has a top travel speed of 90 km/h and range of 1,000 km without refuelling."

Maybe part of some live drills that were on the cards for long.

Wish them success.

Congratulations! We are already inducted this monster in our Army inventory. Hope you get the latest version of Nora.

Well generally speaking a Technical Report from ITD Directorate at GHQ lists the shortcomings of a system at the time of its field and technical trials. Such shortcomings, if in a great number, render the failure of the system. Most certainly the manufacturer can remove the shortcomings and offer again the equipment for trials but at the same time cost of such modifications is simply not worth the effort etc especially in such complex artillery pieces.

Nora already have a upgraded version shown in latest parter 2017 show. They version presented as Alexander should resolved the shortcomings?

did people notice that in Ideas 2016, the unit presented ( NORA ) seems dirty and have dust marks, does it imply that it was on trails to Pakistan and come to Ideas directly from Trails ? ? ? @Horus @Arsalan
yes it was brought to the expo while the trials we're going on

.
In the near future, Pakistan should defend itself with these.

I personally don't like this SPH. And would someone tell me why we rejected T5-52 it was an agile machine with better manufacturing quality and more rate of fire than this Nora.

We must consider Ceaser if not so we must go for newer version of Nora Iskaender.

If I am not wrong atleast 60 imported from Turkey.
I think they are working on Panter 2 with improved staffs. Firtina (tracked SPG) and Yavuz/Asya (trucked SPG) will get benefit out of it. Turkey always puts lots of emphasis on Artillery. Many of her chiefs have been from the corps of Artillery!!!
