I simply used division to get the numbers. My indian brother, I unfortunately have to agree with your assessment. Yes , the indian work force is relatively more skilled than Pakistan's. In hospitals majority of doctors are either indians or arabs, very few pakistanis, nurses 60-70 percent keralites and rest phillipinos, in labour class we might be equal but in decent jobs, hr, managerial positions indians are dominating.thus exponentially more remittances.
But also in uae alone indians are 2.6 million vs 1.1 million Pakistanis. so you cannot say that 4 times more average income, keeping in mind that your labour force is more as compared to that of Pakistan's. it might be around 1.5 to 2 times but not 4 times.
Regardless of this though, arguing on an online forum is pointless as it does not change anyone's reality(for better or worse) out in the real world.
The issue was that a post by a member stated that Arabs should increase Pakistani remittances to match India's before asking for military support from Pakistan.
My point was that its about economics and skill sets...not a gift to be bestowed by Arabs on Pakistanis to make them "equal equal" to Indians that Pakistanis are so insistent on.
Instead maybe Pakistan should negotiate a formal investment treaty with the Arabs in return for military support - that would be far more beneficial than this moaning going in this thread. An investment treaty with time bound project completion deadlines in focused on priority sectors as decided by Pakistani Govt.
