What's new

Pakistan is America's front line ally in killing Afghan Muslims,Lt.Gen Shahid Aziz

Indian muslims in IA would be or atleast consider themselves true muslims.
Pakistani soldiers are or atleast consider themselves true muslims too.

As per my understanding of your statement (No true Muslim would do such a thing), means a true muslim wouldnt kill another true muslim?

what would happen between IA and PA muslim soldiers in your thinking.

First, I object in real life and in on-life transactions to the term 'Indian Muslims'. There are no Indian Muslims, there are millions of Muslim Indians.

Second, that was sarcastic. Look up 'No true Scotsman....'

Third, a true Muslim would try not to kill another true Muslim, but not beyond reasonable provocation.

Fourth, an Indian Muslim soldier would kill a Pakistani Muslim soldier without hesitation, fully believing the third to be true, and the implications therefrom.

So lay down your arms and become Somalia, what a stupid General, I hope this old generation of arrogant and confused Generals are replaced by more nationalistic Generals who care more about Pakistan then some Afghans.

What would it take for Indians to mind their own business?

Simple.

For Pakistanis to lay down their arms and stop minding other countries' business.

Provocation or Reasonable provocation, for that matter true muslims resort to Islamic shariah. so 4th becomes null and void straightaway.

but since, you were only being sarcastic, lets drop it.

I was being sarcastic in the first instance, not in the rest. Enough Muslim Indians have given their lives for their country, and they don't need certificates of good conduct from Pakistanis.

PS: Or even from other Indians.

Not interested in confronting a medicine addicted insane. Better buzz off

I am sure you are more interested in drive-by posts, where the bystanders are struck dumb with awe, and you do not have to pause for awkward explanations. Did you have lots of admirers in school, or is this a recent phenomenon in college?

Don't you understand a simple thing? I am not interested in conversation with a drug addicted insane so better go away oldy.

Oh, I understand a coward unwilling to stand his ground. It happens to cowards, at all ages :enjoy:

and What about you who ran away from the conversation and initiated personal attacks on me?

You know what, i didn't wanted to do this but let me tell you who actually you are.

Do you regret wasting 66 years of your life? In those 66 years of life you didn't become man/mature enough to accept the facts instead you keep on trolling & maligning the facts. This is what you are, a bloody ignorant coward. I have faced people like you and I know how to control you.

No, I don't regret spending 66 years of my life gaining a worthwhile reputation among people of all nationalities. I don't regret getting known to the seniors on this forum, for instance, for integrity of approach, and never allowing my nationality to determine the facts that I present. I don't regret being known to the communalists on both sides for my secularism. I don't regret for sharing information about 1962 with an extremely knowledgeable Chinese member, where the rest of the forum benefited from a frank and informative account of what happened on the eastern frontier in that year. I don't regret having displayed my insight into military history, into politics and into ethics and morality to these members, to members in other fora, to my business associates and to my students. I don't regret being consulted whenever people are in doubt, even on their own country's history, or on military history.

As for my cowardice, again the forum has enough senior members who would speak for me, if I needed them to.

Against a fribble, I don't need anyone. I am prolonging this for my own amusement and entertainment. And I will decide when to stop it. :D

In Kargil several Indian Muslim soldiers fought against Pakistan Army.
and many attained martyrdom

If you were present in front of me, my boy, I would kick your backside, very hard. Is that all you could come out with?

Google Brigadier Mohammed Usman, about whom it could truly be said, "...sans peur et sans reproche..." He was the flower of the Indian Army, and died a hero's death.

Google Company Quarter Master Havildar Abdul Hameed, of the Grenadiers. For sheer cold-blooded courage, there is little to match him, up to and until he faced sure death at gunpoint, and got his shot off simultaneously. He and his seventh targeted tank died together.

Our heroes are not anonymous heroes; they were real, living people, whom their fellow soldiers worshipped. Go look for the memorials to Havildar Hameed, put up by the ordinary citizens of India, and your heart will swell with pride.

Sir ji I DO NOT have the inclination to get into such debates which clearly have an AGENDA

Do you really think that they do not know reality

But since they have an agenda they will keep going on and on
No matter what we say

.
Allah forgive us.
I guess the history does not begin AFTER Pakistan started hosting Afghan refugees.
How long will we keep on repeating our side of the story ?
Here is what Lt.Gen Shahid Aziz has to say regarding Pakistan's blunders w.r.t Afghanistan.

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=874069666071310&id=100004048537108

p.s I think it would be shameful if we start hurling insults at the General for coming out clean instead of introspecting what Pak Army has been doing.

Afghans were doing a good job of fighting and killing each other even before Pakistan was created. You can't blame us for all the problems in the world. The above post is as ridiculous as saying that Pakistan is responsible for the current situation in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I know, lad, but shouldn't we remind them about our heroes? And about Tarapore and Khetrapal, both from the Fakhr-e-Hind, who showed with cold-blooded courage, at the cost of their lives, why it was that their regiment was called so? What are we civilians good for if we don't honour our martyrs?

Exactly ; they are OUR Martyrs --we know their contribution ; their sacrifice
and their worth

I believe that since they are going to disregard and belittle our martyrs ANYWAY

Why should we keep discussing with them

What is the point ; what is the purpose

We should hold them up as glorious examples, for the world to wonder at them, and at the country that awoke such fierce loyalty, that men died for that country.
