Pakistan Inducts BVR Missile H-4

Yeah there's a lot confusion, I've also heard the Raad be called the H4 Raad.

Maybe Not because H-4 is a Glide Bomb and Raad is a Cruise Missile.

Yes this a old post i just checked it. Above posts provide more useful info regarding PAF's BVR capability. As per PShamim PAF has a program named "Crescent Arrow" for its BVR Arsenal

ok firstly who is PSHAMIM???? & secondly why would PAF order 500 AIM120-C7s which have a range supposedly way lesser then our own AAM of the H series! i think H series is an air to ground weapon just like the MUPSOW! please correct me with some authentic links if possible!

This is a south African Raptor II glide bomb with rocket booster with a 120km range. and in PAF it is called H-4. people usually think that only AAM can be associated with BVR missile which is wrong. any missile be it AAM or AGM that can be fired to a beyond visual target is called BVR missile.

Paf didnt order Aim-120 C7 rather they orderd Aim-120 C5...

Secondly Aim-120 c5 has range more than 100km so dun get confused with the 48km range of Aim-120A which is older version

we are just commenting on aanews that dates back to 2003 and yes the H4 and H2 are not BVRAAM they are glide bombs for sure. what is questionable is are they actually variants of Raptor II or some entirely indegenious system. one way or the other they are glid bombs meant for ground attacks and by n0o means an air to air BVR missile!!
Mr.AzadPakistani, friend you should not be so AZAD to say what ever you want. first of all you should do some home work and research. this topic have already been discussed to death.

Mods kindly do the forum a favour by closing this one and asking my frined AzadPakistani to be carefull in futuer when starting such threads!!

this is not a death star we are talking about. Any military enthusiastic with good knowledge can comprehend that H-2 and H-4 with 60 and 120 KM range are south african Raptor I and II and both have the same range as H-2 and H-4.
Remember. PAF hardly classifies military projects with full details.

then who r u waiting for bro SIR.FATMAN or SIR.MUARAD,though u have said it for ur self that PAF hardly disclose their military projects then y they both r gona give us any details.
there is no use to throw arrows in dark room,better wait for official details of H 2/4
