Pakistan, India cannot be enemies forever: Janjua

Frankly, I'd be okay with declaring the LOC to be the international border and just moving on with life already but for that to happen, Kashmir has to be well and truly incorporated into the Indian Union. The task of moving on becomes difficult when Pakistani flags are paraded in Srinagar. In that regard, I believe India's strategy with regards to Kashmir needs work, as the former CM recently noted.

Thank you for your views.

I also concede that the Indian approach to J&K ( not Kashmir alone) needs review, Article 370 must go. There is no option but to make the LC into an IB.

As regards incorporation into India , it will happen when it becomes a regular state like the rest, far too long has this special status lasted. What the former CM is a Politicians view & we know that a Politician who has lost his seat will sell his Grandmother to come back to the lime light & power.

As regards Pak flags , they are planted & can be ' un planted 'in a trice.

Both nations have allowed their parts of J&K to fall back either due to special status granted which created generations of free loaders living on the dole and / or not granting them statehood.

Sure, I would have loved it if lets say Peshawar , Gilgit or Multan were a part of India. Similarly, you possibly would have liked Ajmer or Hyderabad to be a part of Pakistan. But that didnt happen.

Now, either we lament for 7 decades & more over a girl we cherished but never got & make an *** of ourselves or we just say to ourselves - F*** it & move on.

The choice is ours.

Wow that's called unbalanced and coward approach while his indian counterpart talking about "kantay se kanta nikalna", sabotaging CPEC, separating Baluchistan and sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan, our NSA is trying to be a dove, so that his CV gets embellished and he can secure a citizenship in a western country and other perks and privileges...What a shame.. Sir let me choose some bangles for you

Seriously, our stupidity as two nations beats logic.

We suffer from the results of a flawed inheritance . One of us is not willing to accept it.

Nothing is going to change.

We need to cut our losses from a bad deal and move on.
two ation theory mean that india should respect our sovereignity. It doesn't mean that non muslims are our enemy.
Today a non muslim country like china is our best buddy.

7 decades before Nehru made a promise to kashmiri people.
Kashmiris just want indians to full fill their promise. What's wrong with it?

Effects of Pu$$y COAS is quite visible ... Janjua wants to Spit on every Women and man who died by Indian Barbarism so he can but the only Solution to have peace in S.Asia is when India give up Kashmir ..

Neither of us can relocate either. So what's the plan?

Avoid each other for a long period of time, be it peace or war, please don't bother. Keep the part of Kashmir that you have with you and be happy and let us keep the part we have with us. If this is practiced with at most sincerity I guess over the period of few decades, we won't be a problem for each other then. :-)

India and Pakistan will have relations with each other like US and Canada both supportive of each other. India will benefit from CPEC and open itself to a world of sustainability and growth.

The only condition is Kashmir. Let Kashmiris decide their own fate as both parties initially intended. Pakistan will not exchange 'growth' for 'genocide of kashmiris'.

Forget it, India existed here and is doing very well economically well before the idea of CPEC was ever born. We are better off without the benefits of CPEC. The whole notion of Kashmir conflict begin with the violation of stand still agreement, and you know who is an expert in violating agreements.

Both Pakistan and India never fulfilled the preconditions of UN resolutions in the first place. Above all Pakistan had conducted multiple military (mis)adventures as well undermining the essence and spirit of UNSC resolutions. Now when nothing said above seem to be working over the last few decades, Pakistan is consistently talking about peace talks. It ain't gonna work that way. :(

P.S: If the vast majority of Kashmiri's genuinely wished independence they would have been independent long back, no forces (not even half a million troops) can suppress the freedom struggle of a society for this long. :)

Pakistan will not exchange 'growth' for 'genocide of kashmiris

And India will not agree upon anything at the expense of Kashmir.

Now we are back again to square one I guess. :(

Pakistan has stated in the past that only a peaceful solution by Kashmiris for Kashmiris will ensure lasting peace in the region.
Economic growth and sustainability for the masses and not for select elites.
I agree nothing and no one can suppress freedom to the indigenous people. Since India is more than confident that Kashmiris do not wish freedom, it should not ideally need the million odd concentration of forces there.

We are not back to square one. Pakistan holds moral high ground in this issue.

One can change friends but not neighbours on the other hand a good neighbour is a blessing but a neighbour like India is a curse so there shall wars or war like situations keep popping on and off till there comes THE PROMISED TIME AND THE MAN who ll fix everything and everyone.

When ?? Only when Pakistan failed to find a military solution for the same after failing to liberate Kashmir from Indian occupation (as per you guy's) and after loosing hope for any success because India maintains over half a million troops there after 1999.

FYI, the million troops present there is to keep a check on Pakistan's nefarious military designs, not for Kashmiri citizens. Some troops came there in 1965, over half of them were deployed there after that, again more troops were brought in during 1999, most of them were stationed their since then. And you very well know why ?? :p:

If you were the whole world would have been backing up your stance for all these years. Firstly please try and convince your all weather friends, they still believe the issue is bilateral between India and Pakistan. :)

And I can PROMISE, that time will never come. At-least not in our lifetime. :p:

Kashmir is a bilateral issue. Do not even try and think otherwise.

There are no nefarious design when peace is the final prize.

Pakistan has stated many times that it will follow the treaty signed under UN.

The moral high ground is something you have to understand. Pakistan want kashmiris to decide their fate and you are falling into 'Akhand Bharat' spell.

Ideally we shouldn't have been enemies at all but bad decisions and the baggage that they entail have effectively doomed this region to be a perpetual minefield of misfortune. We walk a couple of steps and start becoming confident, just then, bam.....new fiasco!
Always wanted good relationship between two countries but lost hope over a period of time. Here are the first few things I suggest we should do.
1) Do not use harsh language in Public.
2) Discuss in private
3) Communicate together so no confusion.
4) Try to work out a solution.
5) Till it's done maintain peace.

2026? And every Pakistani has green eyes(lense) and everyone should sport a beard(sunnah).

.
well no matter what people say but there can and there will be no peacefull relations between india and pakistan weater members like it or not time for that has long gone pakistan has missed that bus and pakistani establishment knows it and so does US & Chinese establishment so no one wants to pressurise india any more on that rest keep speculating nothing gonna happen cause india aint gonna give any leavrage to pakistan any more .... period
Negative rating!.....lol....this is childish!
