Hmm.... Not to sure on the part in bold. However , I too would like to visit places like Kohat, Bannu, DI Khan , Nowshera & Quetta - places my Dad spoke of during pre partition days. I am aware its never going to happen & my son wouldn't be keen to visit places his Grand Dad spoke of, he'd rather travel to Europe.
On the K thing, in my opinion its neither a ' Atoot ang' or a " Jugular Vein". Its become an industry that exists not only on both sides but also the world over. A money spinner & source of enormous wealth & power which shall not be given up easily.
Closer home, there are countless across the Radcliffe line whose home & hearth runs on this. They make millions without doing a stroke of work. What they enjoy is what can be called ' Zaban- Ki - Kamai" - money made by merely wagging tongues. Their wagging tongues make people loose lives & limb & the fools that do do not realise the level of exploitation they are put through. For mere Rs 500 they throw stones & for a couple of lakhs they blow themselves up , they dont even live to know if the money is actually delivered.
Its a mess, only education & development can get us out of this.
