 can't help laughing myself..

:toast_sign: INDO PAK friendship..is it possible this life time.. ?

Once President Zardari said that there is a little bit of India in every Pakistani's heart but some people laughed at him. I go a step further, there is a little bit of Pakistan in every Indian heart. Thats true. We are like two brother who were separated and because we both are emotional and have egos would not talk to each other but in heart of hearts long for each other.

Our problem is our people are not empowered. We are being fooled by our governments, politicians, fanatics that we are enemies. but if we people start thinking rationally we are not at all. and once majority of the people realize this and organize themselves which is very easy these days...thanks to internet and other technologies .....we can affect change....we can be powerful enough to influence government policies.
it may take time but its very much possible.

once in fifth grade an examiner came and asked, "who is Pakistan's enemy number one?" I stood up and said india, because it was taught to me. He said shabash. but then asked why. i said because we went to wars. then he said Japan and America too had gone to war but they are friends now..i had no answer but that left me pondering....

and after some study of our history i realized that these conflicts and so called hatred are just 'constructed' things for the benefit of elites. nothing else.... ever since i could never hate india...

It may sound strange but it might just take two strong , really strong leaders from both sides with good mandates , littlle more stronger than Musharraf and little more statesman than Vajpayee and it might just happen..

EDIT: I salute your teacher as he taught you to question established beliefs.

During the starting days of Islam the Prophet Muhammad SAW wrote letters to different kings to spread the message of Islam , He also wrote to a christian king maybe a Roman.

When the Messanger of the Prophet SAW arrived at the King's place he asked him to explain Islam & he did the best he could.

After listening it The King stood up and took his stick with him , he stood face to face to the messanger of the Prophet SAW .

He draws a line on the ground and said "I sure to God the difference between you and us is even Thinner than this line".

This example can be applied on Pak India case too :)

BB Bro,

Thanx for the beautiful thread...

It is evident from the response in the thread...once some good people take the lead... common men will come out from their homes to dare the hate-mongers...

If things improve ...we will put your statue in front of India Gate........

( Of course with an umbrella to protect you from the white wash by the birds,,,,)
