Pakistan Increases Trade With Russia

A good news, Pakistan will be increasing its trade with Russia from $20.3m to $500m. I do think this is because the peace relations between India and Pakistan.

If the relations haven't been better, Russia and Pakistan wouldn't trade that much. However, since both countries are having better and better relations day by day. This can benefit Pakistan a lot. Please note that this is rocket boost from almost $20m to $500m.

Of course the trade will be increasing in the future, from the both sides, if the relations stay the same.

Pakistan has the potential to boost annual exports to Russia up to $500 million compared to $20.3m at present, according to director of the Pakistan-Russia Business Council, Mohammad Farooq Afzal.

Afzal, who had just returned from a textile exhibition in Moscow, said a suitable action plan and necessary exporter facilities would allow exports to be increased substantially.

Pakistani Ambassador in Russia, Mustafa Kamal Kazi, said he admired the actions of Pakistan’s exporters in raising the profile of the country’s textile goods on the Russian market.

The XXV Federal Trade Fair Moscow saw the countries debating trade relations between each other and the eradication of trade restrictions.
